Yeah, maybe they’re clueless because they don’t make efforts to have a clue. Levelling is being even more trivial, but you can’t teach someone who don’t wanna be taught. You’re curious and respectful enough to not be a dead weight, those are not, and there are now tons of ways to learn and improve. QED.
I don’t see a problem with the thread I agree it’s become too crazy.

Are you saying that prior to Legion you were just whiteknuckling dungeons without a clue as to what you were pulling, and what those mobs did?

So, why are you doing content you don’t enjoy? It’s not mandatory, you’re only torturing yourself.

Just for fun, I like to find a current difficulty elite rare mob in the open world, and just…demolish it for fun. Y’know the ones that require a small group of 3-5?
True. But if somebody refuses to improve, and just wants to stick to the tutorial, keep them in the tutorial.
WoW is the only game I’ve ever played where you can do and see everything on what’s essentially tutorial mode, and people deliberately restrict themselves to that. Because they “enjoy it”… even though they come here and complain about it.
Sure. But do you do it for months on end, every day, and do nothing else in game, so that’s the sole reason you maintain your subscription?
I’m guessing not.

I think that their complaints largely hinge on the uncomfortable fact that there are people out there doing harder content and getting better rewards.
What I think they really want to see is the elimination any difficulty above the current one they are doing.
They want there to be only tutorial mode.

The scaling hasn’t been fun, that’s 1000%.
Warbank deleting items hasn’t been fun. I think the biggest buzz kills have been the bugs tbh. Then valor stones after that. Literally every time I’ve wanted to craft on an alt, I don’t have enough valor stones.
Can’t get the mastery gem still on Siren Isle, it’s bugged for me. I’ve tried on 3 different characters zillions of times now.
I think another thing that is becoming unfun is they keep removing reasons to do anything in the game. They add an exclusive currency every single patch and the currency can’t be earned in older content, so there is no reason to do the old content. There almost was no reason to get the ring until they had to cave and buff it. They almost removed the reason to even log in because they had the gems time gated. There’s no reason to make a tank alt because it’s gonna take a million years to gear yourself, other than you just wanna play a tank for a little bit.

Best thing you can do OP is to shoot for a group/guild/friends that you meld with.
I promise you can find people that don’t always care about how big their DPS is and have more of a family feel.

Yep. If you’re going to slam every suggestion that might help alleviate that problem then I think you forfeit your right to complain about poor play in higher end content.
But people do so enjoy having their cake and eating it too.

I mean they tried doing that back in Cata and all the Wrath babies cried and cried over the difficulty until Blizzard nerfed everything back into the ground lol.
If you think removing DPS meters will make players slow down, I have a bridge to sell you OP.
i promise we can tell if stuff is taking too long to die, whether we have dps meters or not
