I’m glad cause i’m not a hardcore player, so, i have time to play mutiple games. I’m a explore player, i like to discover new places and colect things. I like veriety.
So, i think people don’t need to choose only one. I know some people have few time to play, but still possible.
Current mmorpg i’m playing: WoW, ESO, GW2, Skyforge, Albion.
And games from other genres: LoL, HotS, Fortnite, Overwatch and Paladins.
I wish try FFXIV, but the subscription is too expensive here in my country.
Not true. You are confusing shareholder capitalism vs stakeholder capitalism.
The former are cut throat businesses who care for nothing except to maximize shareholder profits at the cost of anything and everything else.
Stakeholder capitalism is concerned about profit, of course, but also considers being humane, ethical, and fair in their pursuit for profit.
Blizz firing 800 employees after a record-profit year so they could get their shareholders even more money and pay their executives 40+ million a year is an example of shareholder capitalism.
Must have never made it to level cap pro tip increase your speed attribute and the gcd is shorter ninja, monk, and most other dps classes gcd is the same as wow at level cap.

If you’re rich and can buy one of the limited slots from another player because all the slots are owned by the same 3 or 4 players. (Unless this has changed, when I played one player had 10 slots and all were being sold for an absurd amount)
No it’s really not. I like the different systems for each class. I play samurai mostly and I love it.

That is the exact reason I can’t get in to FFXIV. I don’t like the whole artistic aesthetics of the game. That goes for every Asian developed MMO I have played.

Yea, was gonna say something along those lines. Ofc a newer game (to you) seems more fresh and exciting. However, once you put in the same hours as you would into WoW, that will be the real test.

Saying FFXIV doesn’t have more content then WoW is not opinion. My dislike for FFXIV has nothing to do with it being a j-rpg.
You can’t even jump off bridges, you are LOCKED onto the rails of whatever city you are in, know why that’s an issue?..
I got stuck in the tutorial city in FFXIV and couldn’t even figure out how to leave the freaking city!!! I was wandering around in circles for 2 hours before I just gave up and said screw it. Not to mention FF is a weeaboo ear-stabbing screechy female voice annoyance festival.
