WoW Dropping Back to #3 Most Popular MMO This Weekend

They have a cs office in Texas. Employees were harassed there too.

I think the biggest reason for the New World’s sudden boon is both WoW and FFXIV are suffering Content droughts.

I will just leave this here.

Probably because they’re in a queue.

Good point. Queue World.

I agree with the posters here saying WOW needs to get back to being the game we all wanted to play for hours without the need to force us into daily chores.

I log into games like FF and New World and just start playing. There’s always something I want to do. For New World we’ll see how long that lasts once players are all at cap but for now it’s a lot of fun.

With WOW I log in to do a check list of chores including getting at least 4 15’s done for the week. I don’t log on because the general gameplay is fun.

I personally think WoW should focus on supporting the Rp community…right now its the one thing they are doing better than both FFXIV and New World.

What do you think Blizz should do?

I don’t think the RP community in FF needs anything from Square btw. They seem to be fine on their own.

At some point we do have to ask is this intentional? With Ion being the head of the game–I think it is.

That is actually the issue.

Neither square nor the playerbase has done anything to moderate their community which has resulting in entire servers devolving into “goldshire inn” behavior.

I would raver swim in a clean pond then a heavily polluted ocean.

Agreed. The direction of the game has gone down since he ascended.

Too many EJ players turned devs have made WOW into a bunch of soulless systems

It’s literally a lobby game that revolves around M+ and raiding.

Yet people are confused why people left. It’s not hard. There’s nothing to do for casuals in the game and Ion encourages people to treat casuals as second class citizens.

I honestly think the majority of people leaving is not due to the scandal or even the emote changes I think its mostly due to simply a lack of content.

No it its–the scandal was just the peak. You are correct there.

But prior to this you can watch the streams at the time everyone acknowledges there’s a lack of content, but if you’re considered a casual player it’s far worse because it looks like there’s no devs who care about those players.

Well A lot of the people in charge of the areas people are more critical about were fired as a result of the scandal and it makes sense since these vile individuals seem more interested in covering up their abusive behavior rather than make quality content.

As for their replacements they all seem to show promise that is why I am sticking around in the hopes the next x pack will actually be good.

So you‘re saying „Good due it‘s timegating which everyone seems to enjoy in WoW already“? :joy:

What do you do in wow besides crafting, killing?

Where is that question trying to lead me to? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I haven’t played New World, but every time I tune into a streamer to see gameplay, almost all of them are either picking herbs/weeds, mining ore or rocks, or cutting down trees. Like this doesn’t seem like fun gameplay to just spend most of your time doing this. I guess maybe after you have do this so long, you finally are able to do dungeons and combat stuff.

There really aren’t dungeons…there is some type of dungeon-esque stuff…but no actual dungeons like what we have in WoW. And no raids.
