I work in a company with 19 other people that have my same first name but different last names and it doesn’t effect my identity in the slightest.
Actually, it’s pretty nice being able to exist without blood elves, death knights, and all the other new stuff that keeps being added to modern. It feels much more grounded and back to basics, which is what many people even outside of rp wanted classic for to begin with

West PVP - Anathema, Arcanite Reaper, Bigglesworth, Blaumeux, Fairbanks, Kurinnaxx, Rattlegore, Smolderweb, Thunderfury, and Whitemane
East PVP Alliance - Benediction, Faerlina, Heartseeker, Incendius, and Netherwind
East PVP Horde - Earthfury, Herod, Kirtonos, Kromcrush, Skeram, Stalagg, Sulfuras, and Thalnos
Interesting that they split the east pvp servers, not by what players ‘say’ they want ie faction balance, but instead by what players ‘show’ they want looking at lopsided transfer patterns.
Yeah I agree that such a method would be preferable to tacking on the realm name. But the change you suggest would be sweeping in the changes needed to implement it successfully. Countless programs would need to be modified/tested to assure the display of the code is hidden, whenever a choice is offered to a player, if a duplicate name is encountered, the player would have to be offered a way to choose between the duplicates - think game mail, even the Blizzard account management functions would have to be modified to accommodate this new name addendum, are just three of the issues. It would be a major undertaking.

Here is what I can’t figure out is what If i have alliance and horde on 2 of those pvp servers; I am not allowed due to blizzard prior to 4 or 5.0 to have alliance and horde toons on pvp servers how will they deal with this
I just logged on Grobbulus and it was so dead in Claassic. I really hope Blizzard do something about this because I don’t have a community to quest with anymore.

You’re joking…right? Blizz didnt even bother connecting Classic Grobb and Classic Deviate Delight together? or any other rp realm? So theyre all on their own? Jeeeez…

yes at this point, it feels unplayable, sure i can solo the game myself but Classic was all about the community and right now Grobbulus Classic Era feels like we were left stranded. I’ve made a post on the Grobbulus server and I hope Blizzard can give us an update on our server.

I was the only one on early this morning on DD Classic Era. Connecting Grob with DD will not really help Grob much lol.

This was the easiest and most obviously solution, but oh well.
This would have been a lot better. They can at least still reduce the Classic Era Servers even more than they already have,
