Yeah, neither does you complaining on the forums about something that didnât even happen, but youâre here anyways.
I donât know if Blizzard read the reasons why people leave but I just cancelled my WoW subscription until Blizzard address the Classic Era Grobbulus server. At the moment, I feel like I am spending money at a dead game with only 2 people in Stormwind. I still have half of my subscription that I paid for but it looks like I canât even play the game with the remaining time I have left. Grobbulus is a great server and I hope Blizzard somehow revives this server. I look forward to renewing my subscription once the community of Grobbulus Classic Era server is thriving again.

People are trying out TBC now, its obvious that there are less players on Classic realms. When SL came out, I noticed a big drop as well, but the people came back, they always do.
The whole crossrealm stuff has hurt wow so much, I dont understand why someone wants to play Classic, if he is asking for that. Do you not play Classic for the community, realm only AH? Because I do, and I would be not having fun if I see Legolas from xy sniping my quest mobs all the time, while ignoring my invite since he just doesnt care to be nice.
In a few weeks, once TBC is out for some time, we will get a much better picture about classic realms. I am confident they will be just fine, nobody spends 24/7 at TBC, there just isnt enough content there.
Feel free to fix RPPvP servers now too. They need to be merged.

I have a sub-60 character I havenât played for a while now (main and only one I played more or less), and I was always updating every game. Now, with the last update, it asks me to INSTALL the wow classic again, I clicked âlocate the gameâ but when I highlight the classic folder what appeared was this code BLZBNTAGT00000AF0 and it said that there is no game. Then I tried to highlight the World of Warcraft folder in which there were both the classic and retail and it wanted to install there so I clicked INSTALL but it created YET ANOTHER separate folder named classic_era. So, the one that was (still is) there in the World of Warcraft folder on my F drive, contained the handy addons, but with this new folder it doesnât. how do I repair and why the heck doesnât the client want to update it on top of the existing classic folder? Or, why doesnât it merge everything including the addons and game settings to the new folder or at least the game settings, if thatâs whatâs required as TBC classic is coming out and if blizzard decided to have all the classics into the classic folder? So yes, I kind of want help regarding this.
blizzard should edit the last paragraph of this post.its a lie,they did nothing for any of the rp realms and for the rest they didnt consider faction balance when grouping.i pay a sub mainly for classic era wow,or use to.ill come back in 6 months to see if anything has improved.

Iâm running around seeing the server names on everyoneâs toonsâŚand I hate it. Always did. They should have just actually merged servers.

I wish there was an option to just start over on a new realm that was free from clones and separate from the other, preexisting servers.
Iâm surprised there arenât any fresh servers announced, unless Iâve missed that. Would be a good time to go with season 2 of Vanilla Classic, then season 3 when Wrath comes out and Season 2 shifts to BC.
Would hopefully reduce congesion of the launches by providing multiple choices to players.

Right now, theyâre no doubt fully involved with TBC Classic and the next part of retail (with associated money ventures like the boost and deluxe edition), but Iâd love to see your idea show up. Two year seasons would suit me well.

Does this mean I can no longer have a Horde character on Yojamba if I have an Alliance character on Arugal?

This. I would prefer Deviate Delight is just moved to US PVP East at this point.

most wonât play that way we had enough that were staying that the way it was implemented and loosing our guilds will not be continuing to play, thanks a lot jerks, we had 2 memorialized officers/raiders that passed away last year jerks. you lost at least enough for 3 raid teams permanently that will never again be back for world of warcraft or any other game blizz is involved with
between guild raiders and others we raided with that were taking 1 or 2 toons on into tbc there was enough for staying on our server to have raided fine without munching others together would have been 3-4 40 man raid groups but you chose to piss off the old time 16 + year players i see 3 over their playing tbc is all , stupidity abounds at blizz but like you always say itâs your game, when ya keep loosing more and more players and only saw 1 or 2 even logging into retail you wonât have a game for long and people wonât be playing other games you put out either

Considering the state of a number of isolated realms in certain regions, the removal of memorial characters and the complete disruption of Classic Era guilds without any thought, Iâd say you failedâŚ

Guys please do an actual merge. Connected realms lead to people from different realms not communicating because thatâs just human nature.
You know this is how it always works.
