Well, they should be, but yeah corporations can be held accountable for their actions. See the huge settlements that tobacco and drug companies have had to pay for killing so many people, KNOWINGLY.
However you can’t jail a corporation so that is tricky, they get finned instead of jailed until they can prove individual actors within to be guilty.
Corporations to get sued as an “entity” responsible for whatever they are being accused of. Like ATVI being sued as a company for allowing sexual harassment and hostile workplace conditions to go on for years.
Still, that is all civil, not criminal.

i really hate this term, just say your fragile feelings are hurt and move on. others don’t think like you/ it’s time to leave your moms basement and move into the real world.
Why haven’t the officers of corporations been drafted into an infantry battalion and sent into a war zone, or tried for any crime committed by the corporation while they were running it and sent to prison as an individual would be in the same circumstances?
Because the idea that corporations are “people” is a fiction created by, and for, the elite and accepted by members of that same elite to protect their elite status.

Sometimes I edit for clarity. Specially when I notice a lot of people misunderstanding my post and misquoting me.
I have gotten the impression some people just read the title or the first paragraph and go ahead and reply.
And to be honest. I also edit to correct grammar, bad sentence structure. Spelling etc.
The founders thought it was acceptable to settle verbal disputes by shooting at each other from 10 paces. Clearly, they didn’t think speech should be consequence free. They just wanted it settled amongst the public rather than with the hand of the government.
Didn’t it begin as a table in a restaurant not the dinner table in your home?
Doing the digital equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears does not void Blizzard’s rules on profanity and other bad language, and they have said that before.
Because it is their game and they can make whatever rules they wish to. We either agree to abide by those rules or we don’t play the game. Its as simple as that.

There are people who believe that they should be able to say whatever they want without consequences. And this term is applicable to today. Freedom of speech does not guarantee that you will not face a pushback/consequence from what you say, either from the people around you or a private company/business.
I am pretty sure there are.
Ad hominem is not an argument. Also, the real world enforces the “freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences” mindset. For example, I can’t just walk into a Walmart and start saying racial slurs to people. I would get kicked out, and I should get kicked out. That behavior is toxic.
