It only grouped players on the same server and the bonuses to use the tool were removed. Also, there could be a toggle to switch off automatically teleporting to the dungeon so you and your group get that socializing in while running to the dungeon entrance. So there would be no effect on “MUH COMMUNITY” and “MUH SOCIAL EXPERIENCES”.
I dont have any issue with regular RDF, almost everyone wants it. They will add it eventuallt, so may as well be now

Make sure to remove summon stones for them as well.
Locks cannot port either and the skill is removed, no mounts or fight paths, too.

I would still want multi-server. If anything, maybe tone it down to like 3 or 4 servers at the minimum that are linked together, but certainly not just one server. It’s kind of self explanitory on why this is needed.
Also, to hell with the rewards. Don’t need them, but tbh, the main reason they put them in there was to incentivize tanking and healing to reduce queue times and actually make the groups pop. So take that how you will.
And as far as the toggle goes, yeah go for it. It’s the same principle with simply not using it or using it. I’m all for LESS gatekeeping and more personal choice.

My favorite argument was when one of them told me they are the majority because if they weren’t there would be more pro-rdf threads. They then followed up by saying those threads are being deleted for spam.

I have linked you to 2 massive polls before. There are like a dozen smaller ones out there. Just google “Wrath RDF Poll” and you will find every platform poll. Most are 70/30 in favor of RDF.
But you believe that only PRO-RDF use Youtube.
You also believe that ONLY pro-RDF people use wowlogs.
But yeah, let’s ignore reddit, forums, even forums like wowhead and mmochamp. Let’s also ignore every single massive youtuber with half a mil of subs, tweets with thousands of likes…yeah…let’s just ignore that.

It’s not just the polls, it’s all over. Reddit threads, comments in WoWhead and Youtube all seem to be overwhelmingly in favor of RDF in WotLK classic.

its pretty silly for anyone to claim the majority. it would be better for you if you WERE the minority, because theres no way blizz doesnt have metrics on this. and if theyve doubled down on an unpoopular decision, they REALLY dont want it in game.
I will preface by saying this is just a gut feeling, but I don’t think Blizz has meaningful data on this. I was reading some of Birmingham’s tweets the other day and he even stated he was caught by surprise with how many people have spoken out against the change.

There is no way you actually think that just a handful of people want RDF…That’d be so sad if you actually think that. Simply means you’re so tunnel versioned and you can’t see past your own belly. Absolutely zero awareness of whats happening around you.
The backlast was BRUTAL when they first announced it.
The top reddit post had over 20k upvotes and thousands of comments with thousands of upvotes on that day. In one day it blew up/ Heck, it even had like 20+ gold rewards + 100s of other rewards.
