Never going to happen.

Cue Gloria Gaynor.

that talk got wrath reforged the token
But perma banning them right outa the gate fixes everything
It just leads to account theft.
healthy population
Yeah Iâm sure all few hundred of you guys who will stay past the first month will do just fine.
Doesnât change what I said, which is that most players are there for the rush and thus appealing to them, and making a server that will be basically a ghost town in a handful of weeks is a bad business play.
that talk got wrath reforged the token
Blizzâs love of profit got Wrath the token.
Yeah Iâm sure all few hundred of you guys who will stay past the first month will do just fine.
Donât you have a boost to get too on era?
I hate it.
Bleh.
I hate it.
I love it.
It just highlights how hypocritical Blizz is.

Fresh vanilla server right now would go through to Naxx fully populated.
Just need one. Any more would be too thin to spread.
Excited for you getting fresh as seasonal.
Enjoy!
I feel like era players trying real hard to convince themselves and others that it aint gonna take a STEEP nosedive into the ground when HC and fresh/SoM2 drop
Most everyone playing era right now knows that, but unlike most classic players some of us know blizzard. âFreshâ that isnât HC is a ways out, its gonna be waiting for the heat death of Era so the quarterly MAU values are kept as High as possible
It just leads to account theft
Get an authenticator
authenticator
If Blizz were concerned about it, authenticators would be required.
Fresh vanilla server right now would go through to Naxx fully populated
Every âfreshâ server dies after AQ opens
Every âfreshâ server dies after AQ opens
Thatâs fine. Iâll take that.
While fresh would be nice, I donât think its necessary. The best thing they could do is to eliminate GDKP and make it against ToS. Keep vanilla as vanilla with no GDKP, no tokens, no RMT, etc, and be very aggressive in cracking down on it.
Bots, gold buying or selling, GDKPS, instance boosts, and paid carries of any kind should all be thanos snapped from existence.
Iâd also personally want to see âreserveâ runs added to that, but thereâs the reality that a tank shortage would just make runs to those dungeons nonexistent (live strat orbs reserved for tank for example being the most common) if the practice where fully eliminated.
era?
So instead of addressing what I said, you say a dismissive one liner.
Wow classic players, really showing up good and ânotâ demonstrating their painful inability to communicate. Ironic really.
Fresh vanilla server right now would go through to Naxx fully populated.
I highly doubt fully populated. Iâm not doubting that you can do naxx, but the post is asking if itâs a good business idea to do fresh.
I highly doubt there would be more than 1000 players that make it to naxx on a fresh server, because as weâve seen before in the few fresh attempts prior, most people leave after a month or so because it isnât actually fresh. Mostly casuals want fresh, and once their behind, theyâre done.
So no, a server for 1000 or so people is not a good business idea.
as weâve seen before in the few fresh attempts prior, most people leave after a month or so because it isnât actually fresh.
Itâs been awhile so my memory is faulty. When did we have fresh aside from the initial Classic launch?
Actually I need to go to bed so I wonât screw around and wait for your response.
Only fresh weâve had is SOM, which, in the context of the initial question I posed here, is about as bad for business as any product Blizzard has launched. Half-baked decisions in their changes, but worst of all the timing was as bad as timing can be and is just one of the many issues contributing to its failure.
A standard fresh is a different conversation.
I think you are simply not right.
There are as I see it many different player types in Era, but 2 main subsets.
No. 1 that want to stay there indefinitely - I think they left the Perservers or never went there, but are now happily chillin in Era. Those are maybe more PvE or even RP oriented.
No. 2 that like the rush of fresh, who liked Pservers, who went to seasonal, and will jump on HC for the kick. Furthermore those are mostly PvP oriented.
Era will never be empty for long, as the first type of players will be either staying or fast returning after once again realizing that fresh is not for them no matter the hype.
And I guess you belong to my subset number 2.
