Piss them off? Sure… but for what reason? It effects them in no way, they love to correlate it with a “dying community” or lack of social interaction but have no proof that is caused anything, they act like it’s toxic… but the community is toxic either way… and it doesn’t take away anyone’s social interactions, you can do whatever the hell you want.
They have no reasoning and the devs are just as clueless as their classic player-base…

We think you’re lying. It’s not at all uncommon for people to lie on the internet. We don’t believe it’s possible for players to level from 1 to 70 with the current tools and find level appropriate groups to do all the dungeons a few times mixed in with questing. We’re not going to get past that.

The fact that you firmly believe it brings no harm to anyone simply shows how profoundly you don’t get the other side of this argument, so I don’t see a point in wasting time explaining it. If you don’t get after months of arguing, I simply believe you won’t get it ever.
