Wotlk RDF, do we want it or not?

That’s probably fair but it doesn’t change the fact that many people will still be mad. This is why I say you just put in all of RDF or not at all and that the compromises are largely pointless.

Of course I don’t actually believe its all just being whiners because I personally don’t want RDF and my concerns are not addressed in any compromise I’ve seen and I’m not sure they really can be.

Fair enough. I just thought he was arguing with himself

… you should read below. Open your mind a little.

Here’s my compromise for RFD:

  1. No cross-realm. At all. My groupmates should always be part of my game world.
  2. No teleporting to dungeons. The dungeons are physical places in the world that you need to get to somehow. The dungeon finder is a group-finding game tool and shouldn’t interact with the world.
  3. Random-select dungeons honor the usual lockout rules. Ie. You can’t get the same heroic more than once per day. This is crucial to ensure people forming groups normally (“just don’t use it lol”) aren’t at a gearing disadvantage, since they are still subject to lockout restrictions.
  4. No bonuses for high-demand roles. Players only playing for rewards will always be less of a team player.

With those stipulations, I would be okay with RDF.

No we dont want RDF and saying the majority is not true everyone knows its just forum people who dont play the game actually and just spam the chat channels and retail peeps complaining. Your on the forums more then the actual game so no forum people dont speak for actual people.

Cute coming from someone with 0 sunwell kills and a 13 BEST avg in BT. Tell me… who is it that doesn’t play the game?

Its pretty obvious lets look up your forum history and see if your on the game more then the forums.
I dare anyone to look up your history on forums. Your one of those guys who will complain get what he wants then ruin the game and never touch it

Except I’ve been playing the whole time, and you haven’t killed anything.

okay so lets check your forum history on your name and all your post. pretty simple and point proven

People are on too much of the extremes to every really have a fair and logical debate on this subject.

Honestly, RDF fits wotlk the best due to how easy it is in general. If for example we were doing BC and it was the first few weeks on the heroics. You que’d up for RDF and have a warrior tank and three warrior dps… That’s gonna be one hell of a run.

In Wotlk. You can probably throw togeather any Motley crue of a group and work with it. I mean Yes you could work with a 4 warriors one healer in a H SHH But most people won’t. In Wotlk People will just due to how much easyier it is to do it with what you got Vs. Kick this guy and hope you get a CC or a ranged dps. Or a none foolish fool.

You’ve yet to prove anything, 636 posts while im bored at work means nothing lol. I’ve actually been doing the content each week, while you’ve been to BT one time and never touched sunwell. Opinion irrelevant.

Have you seen the new system they are developing in beta?

It’s bad…

really, really bad…

Almost like they are trying to make it bad purposely to spite players…

Why do you think it is bad?

Because i can be on my hunter and queue as a tank?

Maybe i plan on being on my tank for that run and i am just farming on my hunter while group is forming?

Tell us why you think its bad.

Way too complex.

Remove the cross-realm aspect and RDF as it was is completely fine, because the “social fabric destroying” aspect is removed, and TBC has shown that people are more than willing to destroy that social environment all on their own.

If gearing competition is an issue… then I would just go for a personal loot system.

Can’t agree more, unfortunately.

There’s enough people who don’t want it, to justify its removal. /thread.

Here’s what I did, I just didn’t care. We don’t have a choice; we get what we get. In this case, I don’t care, so I’m happy either way.

Other people may have other opinions, and spend time caring. Not me!

There’s enough forum trolls who thrive off people not getting features they want, but when it comes to players the polls and sub counts for OG WotLK prove people want RDF.

You mean the polls that people can vote multiple times on if they have even a remote idea of how internet open polls work?

Ya i wouldnt trust that data at all considering how easy it is for an individual to distort it by THOSANDS of votes if they really wanted to.

You are always stuck with really dumb friends if you play wow

ohh rdf stands for something else my bad
