Dungeon finder should not be added until the correct phase. After that phase I have no problem with the LFD tools inclusion. But I would rather it not be added, ever.

I’d leave that guild for a real one then… wtf you mean you have to be part of the core… for dungeons? Guild problem.

every guild tends to have a core “council” they know each other well, they are friends pre wow, they like recruiting extra people so they can offer a slot to other guild members when one of the core group isnt available. they tend to chat amongst themselves and make decisions for the whole guild based on what the 4 or 5 people in the core want. this is the way a majority of the guilds out there operate, and then theres the people packers with a thousand members and no one knows each other, and then you have those rare guilds, they generally dont exceed 50 people and its usually a couple of guilds that merge to create it. not always, just usually. and those are the guilds to join. but they were rare in original with 11 million subscribers so you can imagine how much rarer they are to find these days.
LFG Tool change/addition suggestion:

Make some adjustments to the guild UI to show player’s LFG status.
If a player lists in the LFG tool. Show a flag in the guild UI that lets guild members see they are looking to run a dungeon. -
Make it possible to list within the guild UI and not the public LFG tool so they can keep it as a guild run.
Yeah I get what you’re talking about. But that is more raid related while the tool being discussed is for dungeons. Even in those guilds with “core council” if you have people on to group with for dungeons should be good to go. If not, then you’re in a hardcore guild where the tool wouldn’t matter anyways.
While these sound interesting. If you’re in a guild why not just tell them you’re in lfg? Or ask others if they can fill desired roles?
Every guild I’ve been part of has people doing that all the time.

I think the only thing lacking in the current tool is that it doesn’t filter dungeons properly all the time. Like I filter for mana tombs and I see people listed for BRD and SM even when I make sure I just have the one dungeon selected.

This is about effectiveness. Spamming ANY chat is undesirable. Showing details about player motives within the guild would be an easy conversion starter.
not really raid related in my experience, i went through several guilds this time out in just the last couple months that all had a core council like i described. and the only way i got a guild run was if one of their council were out for the night or if i sat for hours on end in the lfg mess they have in game right now. both ways sucked, eventually just left and stopped trying for a guild and made a new one. got about 20 folks in the group now and doing our best to avoid the core group mentality.
There’s not a reason not to have it for Heroics either. Especially with Mythics coming.

If it’s about effectiveness, I have yet to have a problem using the current implemented tool. I’ve never had anyone get upset with me about posting in lfg. Nor have I seen others bothered if they’re using lfg for its purpose.
If spam bothers you, put lfg in its own chat tab and use it only when actively looking for group.

no, theyve provided what they think is cover for their money related motives. no rdf means more sales of character transfers.
You claim LFG tool is effective. Many on this forum claim it is not.
The fact thymat the spam is never ending illustrates that it is not.
The fact that people spam other channels instead of LFG illustrates that it is not.
The fact that chat exists without the LFG tool and people must still spam chat illustrates the tool does not work.
Your “works fine for me” is you defending Blizzard when they are indefensible.

I give you my opinion, you counter with “facts” that are not actually facts. Use your own opinion to make a point and you’ll go further in life.
Got up at 5am for some reason, did a dungeon luckily, took forever to start bc “Did you get summon?” then Druid dude pisses around and goes back to Shatt and says wait like 3 times then after 15 mins we go in after I waited 20 to do SH when only takes 20 mins with good group.
I am so very tired and impatient now. If you aren’t ready and I’ll
give you 5 mins to get ready when summons are coming, I’m kicking you. Sorry. If you aren’t going to say you’re coming to stone or I don’t see you move, I am kicking or leaving.
I’m doing my part and trying to get groups, checking if peeps are coming or whatever and met with silence.
So I’m done being Nice Body type Nugget 2.
I’m sick of f-in waiting every single day for 2 years to do dungeons so this nugget has had it.

IF Blizzard removed the LFG tool and left us with chat spam. You’d still be in here claiming “works fine for me”
The tool is crap compared to the effectiveness of RDF.

there shouldnt be any point in the game to have spam anything at all but with this LFG tool its almost a direct spam tool there so much spam that comes from it

and NOW youre not just a troll, your a liar as well. how sad, i pity you and whatever pathetic circumstance that has led you to the current mentality you possess. and heres the clearest part… if the devs would look at your forum posts, they would see WHY social interaction is a horribly false reason for their decision. your mentality will never belong in any of my groups i manually build, or any guild i would involve myself with. yet if there were RDF you would still get a shot at a run when i was tanking. but hey, why would you care, you have your little core of self same tools like you that dont use the LFG tool because you have your group already, and think its cool to come in here on 8 different alts spewing the same false garbage. youre probably using screen shots or some stuff to post to your “stream” that all 12 people are watching.
