its funny that you say this, and then when someone like me tells you i dont claim to speak for the community like you, and all i claim is from MY experience you respond with…
youre claiming that everyone in the game world knows what you FEEL is true but is not, there is NO WAY you could make that statement as the basis of an argument.
Always trust Blizzard to ruin there own games. Can’t wait for the same cash shop from retail to be added in classic, as well as borrowed powered, and CRZ. Funny how they blame one thing for destroying the community when it was actually other stuff that destroyed the community and the game.
There really is no reason to not have all dungeons up to Heroic in the RDF with Heroic + coming. Just make that content unable to be queued, like y’all do with mythic dungeons, and allow people to run normal heroics to their hearts content.
Exactly. And as we got more and more levels to level into, it is going to be harder and harder to find a group for the Vanilla and TBC Dungeons. The level 58 boost already made the Vanilla Zones feel dead, the level 70 boost is just going to make Vanilla and TBC zones feel dead.
Because players like you have no foresight
All you see is short term rewards and not the long term consequences.
The reason we don’t want it is because it RUINS the games. This happened over 10 years ago, you have all the proof you need and you just keep up this smugness like it’s not going to happen again.
It ruins nothing. It lets players bypass a tedious, pointless waste of time. There is nothing social in the group forming process. Absolutely nothing. You are not a person; you’re a gearscore and a spec. That’s it.
If you want actual proof of toxicity, look at TBCC and the atmosphere that exists without RDF…it’s the worst I’ve ever seen and I’ve been playing since Vanilla. RDF would give players an option to avoid that horribly toxic nightmare. And yet you can still make groups with your friends, with your guildies, and with just random people maybe you meet out in the world. Nothing social is lost. The only thing lost is wastes of time, and the power to gatekeep.
And of course there’s the whole 1-79 experience to take into account. With RDF: lower level dungeons will be active and full of players. Without it they collect dust.
For me the dungeon finder is a must. I am mainly a solo play and not by choice. I just dont have as much time as others so wanting for ever in how the current dungeon finder works hinders my progression and ability to gear fast enough to hang with players that can play 12 hrs a day. For me not having in might make or break it for me and push me away from wow all together. It was one of my staples for lvling and enjoying the game and ive waited 12 years to play wotlk again. Please i beg of you all the pillers of the wow community plz push blizzard to make the dungeon finder as it was back in original wrath…
It was a system at the time of implemented that was great. I much prefer how they are doing loot coming up in phase 2 concerning heroics. I also 100% agree that RDF for 1-80 NORMAL DUNGEONS should absolutely exist as this is where the real issue is.
If not this, at least for leveling dungeons, we should have it. Every single interview only mentions RDF for 70-80, but where it would be most useful is from 15-70. But no one ever mentions that to them in these interviews or council posts.
See once again in my opinion it should be fdor heroics and all dungeons for the simple fact most of the wow i would say have full time jobs and no where near have the time needed to site and wait for people to pick and. Hoose if they want me in their groups. But on that note like in original wrath it should 100% be limited to dungeons only. Raids are in my opinion more of the finished product of your hard work and should be left alone to guilds and friends that have a team setup and have focus all their effort for that goal. If the problem people have with the dungeon finder is just the community building aspects of it, well thats were you raid teams come into play. In raids witch should be the highest difficulty area of the game is were myself and a handful of missfit loaner players developed a community back in the day and for us was perfect and would love to see it that way again tyvm
The rdf will also eliminate the problem of segregation of the players without a huge community base. Yes im in a guild. Been in several guilds and if your not part of their core team lol your still on your own to pug it away. Rdf helps with that left out feeling because your not a core member
