Nope, XMOG was Cataclysm. And it sucked.
just wait.
Not waiting for Cata. Wait, you are asking for Transmog to be added to WotLK+? SURE, lets have it!
funny how you have to completely change the topic of the thread to try and justify no RDF.
Oh, I want WotLK Classic, Not WotLK+
That dream is dead
classic is still there for you to play… for all of you to play. so instead of doing so, you would rather try to ruin everyone who doesnt care about vanilla’s experience with your meaningless effort to gate keep the game.
You just not reading my posts? I just said I am here for WotLK, not Classic, not WotLK reforged.
WotLK. There are no chances of us getting that now.
Oh really, is that what you said?
So youre also for RDF because thats what WOTLK classic would be.
You think RDF is not WotLK. You think transmog is WotLK.
Good Bye. I am done with you.
we had RDF in wotlk i think youre confused.
My Ideal checklist for RDF:
RDF should NOT be in the game for high lvl content for phase 1 (lvl 68+ wotlk dungeons and group quests) or for new content HEROICS (When the ICC/TOC dungeons get added). People will be spamming these regardless there’s no need for it at this point in the game.
RDF should be added for previous expansion content asap. This content is super easy and more lower lvl dungeons is a plus for anyone who enjoys lvling dungeon spamming.
RDF should be added for WOTLK non-heroics after many in the playerbase have a couple of raid lockouts under their belt Or when the volume of players running normal dungeons per week drops significantly.
RDF should be added for WOTLK Heroics after the volume of players who run heroics on a weekly basis drops by a significant amount and only for dungeon content that isn’t from that phase. I would even consider buffing some of the drops or adding new drops to make it more enticing to queue as a catch up mechanic for people gearing alts as later phases roll out.
and most important of all…
RDF should NEVER be cross-server.
Not being able to hold others accountable on their own server is one of the main reasons why the retail version of RDF is viewed so badly by the people who don’t want it in the game.
I feel like designing RDF as a catch-up mechanic is the best possible solution to pleasing both sides of the spectrum… The people who want RDF in the game have it, and the ones who don’t want to touch RDF with a 10 foot pole can still do current content the way they have since vanilla classic.
I’m talking about content that RDF is used for, please read
i think it should be like this RDF in the game but make a server that dont have RDF in it For one’s that dont want it so both side would be happy probably wouldnt happen
Personally I like RDF, it brings some balance for people with RL. You can farm mats for crafting, or do quests while waiting for the Q to pop up. It’s good for time management.
However, I also think it could use some adjusting to how it originally worked. I’d like dungeon finder to prio people within a server. Hopefully get groups of people from the same server, this keeps some level of interaction within people that can play together outside of the dungeon. Which also creates some level of possible recruitment for guilds through dungeons which can happen sometimes. And also, it lowers the chance of toxic looting from people that arent part of the server.
the other option is to have the RDF recognize pieces of loot for specific roles. IE; tank loot for tanks, caster loot for casters etc. Let only the people that can use those pieces need them, everyone else can only greed. FF14 uses this type of system and it makes for fair looting practice.
Thats my 2 cents.
I literally want RDF so I can level Alts lol so this is fine
Yep, we get H+ because Blizzard knows people won’t run Heroics without some kind of iLvL improvement to get them in there.
Rdf helps new players and alts. Unless Blizzard is going to put iLvL gains into old content too.
I really don’t understand why people don’t want it… Just add it to the game and people that don’t want it, don’t have to use it… the people that want it can use it and have their fun, and the people that don’t want it can use LFG channel and have their own fun… I guess people are upset that everyone will just use Dungeon finder and won’t be able to find groups the old fashioned way? Doesn’t that just mean people want it? and that it’s kind of just superior? If people don’t actually want it… they won’t use it… right?!
its funny how ppl talk about they dont like RDF but when there was no que for bg it took almost an hour for low lvl bg and that they have a que im getting in bg almost less then 5 mins everytime i que
