You mean like how anti-lfd trolls have cherry picked RDF as the reason?
The point is Blizz isn’t infallible. They make wrong decisions all the time. They interpret data incorrectly, and they didn’t even collect any data on RDF to begin with.
That would be me. Do you have a counter argument? That’s how businesses that focus on profits do things. They don’t always do what most players want. That’s not always in their best interests as you claimed
The social impact of what? Spamming your gearscore in the LFG channel? Having to buy your way into a dungeon group. There is nothing social about the group forming process. It’s a pure business transaction.
I’ve gone through all the surveys I didn’t get when they were leaked on wowhead. I don’t have to reread them now to remember what they asked. I get that some people don’t remember things they read though so you can take your time rereading them.
Never said Blizzard surveyed on this to begin with. I did respond to a post about data and believe it much more likely they get their data from surveys than forum posts.
I did find it hilarious to have someone respond immediately like they were a Blizzard search engine though.
I don’t think this was hard to follow nor did it require high level reading skills. Try rereading it slowly if you’re having trouble seeing where we disagree.
We’ve been discussing this for a long time. Some of us have done our research and have read and followed the discussion. I get that you didn’t and mostly don’t bother so it’s not a surprise you find people who do hilarious
The LFG Tool makes it even more so but also fails badly.
It’s super awesome listing yourself and then getting a random invite that does not in any way show that it is from the LFG Tool and might not even be for a dungeon you were looking for. Because the Tool is much worse than the retail version and if I list myself for X dungeon someone looking for XYZ dungeon won’t know that and will invite me for Z dungeon.
