Well actually its more than just that, you can get the group composition you want. RDF may form a group of full plate wearers for example… Good luck getting gear in that situation.
RDF in retail is simply a mindless activity that feels socially horrible. Nobody talks at all. In my classic groups, most people are talking. This partially stems from lfg imo.
So? It’s awesome! Better than before. I don’t care where it came from. Playing it has been great.
That’s the best part. Better LFG tool and no RDF. Bigger servers. It’s awesome!
They made mistakes in retail like RDF. They are ignoring all this toxic noise in the forums and not doing it again. They’ve come out and stated it explicitly. NO RDF. Plan accordingly.
Ion isn’t a troll.
And there are two versions of the game; one for both groups! That’s awesome! We didn’t have a carebear rush-everything version for all these people before. Now we have both; they just want to ruin this one too.
The WoW community would be better if you left and played something you enjoyed.
Nah, it’s a terrible tool and creates a terrible playing environment. All the “trolls”, you know, the people who love the game they released, are grateful Blizzard is ignoring your feelings and creating a much better gaming environment.
Start a new character where there are. Pay to transfer if you must. It’s not Blizzard’s fault no one wants to play with you.
Truth
You’re still whining while saying it’s working.
This game isn’t for them and Blizzard told you to plan around that. They aren’t changing their mind.
You won’t get your way. If you don’t like the game, play the game you like.
Plus Blizzard picked the best option for the game, released an awesome version of wrath, and they aren’t going to ruin it again.
I did manually formed groups all the time after rdf was added. I had a friend that was into getting achievements. I didn’t care about them but would join her achievement groups when ever she needed a healer.
Every time there’s a disagreement someone makes that claim. Sometimes they’re right, sometimes they’re wrong. It’s a zero sum game after all, like flipping a coin. Blizzard has changed their mind so often that anyone who believes anything they say is a fool. I don’t care about your guess. I’ll just keep posting and see if they change their mind. It’s worked that way in the past
Luckily, the posts have been coming since June before they committed to this decision. LONG winded toxic post-after-post-after-post. Then they removed RDF. They won’t change their mind. They were very explicit about it.
i went into RDF on my mythic geared toon to blast some dungeons on my main like 3 days ago.
Met a group of 3 guys who just hit max level. we were talking having a fun time and i’m like you guys don’t need to be here and took them on a mythic world tour for the hell of it… got their warrior geared out with all the plate i was funnelling him.
I’m on their discord now and we’re buddies it was a fun experience.
last time i did dungeons in TBC Classic, no one spoke outside of Sheep Moon and GG at the end, i didn’t want to initiate it because i was already annoyed at having to reform the group 3 times from people leaving from it taking to long just wanted it over with.
I’m a single account. You people who say, “troll”, or hope it’s an alt are trying to cope with how many people are happy you’re wrong.
Doesn’t matter. If Blizzard ever skimmed their forums, they know the reality. That’s who matters. That’s why we’re in a better position. You won’t be getting RDF.
@Haraath, I’ve played retail all of shadowlands, I have every character at 60, I can assure you out of the heap of RDF I’ve used, very few talk at all. Its only ever premade groups that queue up that will generally talk… groups of 3 - 4 guildies queue up are more likely to talk and be friendly. ( Check my characters profile I’m posting on, you’ll see by my gear and m+ rating that I know a thing or two about retail )
