Acting like this “dark side” doesnt exist without LFD.
The last time i ran a dungeon in TBC Clsssic, the tank tried to hold us hostage for loot, demanding gold, which ultimately resulted in the group collapsing and two of us spending the next hour finding another group. If we had LFD, we could have just all voted to kick the tank, had a new one slotted in by the dungeon finder, and been able to finish the dungeon.
You try to threaten us with how “bad you’ll be” if there is no LFD, but there are already people behaving the way you are describing. LFD just makes it easier to deal with jerks like you.

Oh, i wont actually be doing that. Im leveling 2 tanks specifically to help friends get their alts leveked through dungeons.

It’s not my job to teach people elementary school knowledge. Do the reading. Do your own homework.

Except i won’t actually be doing that and rdf lets jerks get away with that behavior with 0 consequences.

Im going to enjoy Wotlk either way. My enjoyment isnt predicated on how miserable other people are.
Silver Lining: The best part of no cross realm LFD is never having to group with you.

As of right now in tbc, if someone does the jerk things you mention in your hypothetical situation, the group is screwed and stuck either suffering the jerk or looking for another group for an hour. At least with LFD you can vote kick the jerk and slap him with a 30 minute dungeon debuff. At least with LFD there are consequences, unlike now, where the jerks run rampant wothout any repercussion.

I experienced it and just used what i said as an example of the behavior people can do, and have 0 chance of actual consequences.
You’re getting backwards man. Right niow without LFD there are zero consequences. With LFD, there can finally be consequences.

Blacklists work wonders if you dont use them then thats your own choice.
Again I ran i a LOT and you seem to have hit issues that at least myself found rare. *again the rare time it happened no biggie queue up again and go, it was a lot more disruptive when you had to manually make the groups. I never had issues putting people even in LFG on ignore wasn’t that suppose to keep you from grouping with them again (I think I had two people on that list).

It’s not just about me, it’s better for the overall trajectory of the game, and I’m happy that many will get to experience Wrath when it was still really good vs Wrath after they implemented such a controversial feature. I know many who are excited about RDF’s removal.
I haven’t told anyone how they should play…all I’ve ever recommended is that you do what you enjoy. Life is short, no need to waste time on things that give you grief.

This doesnt stop the person from going off and doing it in another group 5 mins later. RDF kick gives you a 30 minute debuff where you cant dungeon again.
Youre joking if you think “blacklists” work. Everything you type screams disingenuous, so this isnt surprising.

You’re the one gaslighting by acting like all of the elements that are retained by not having RDF are somehow meaningless. It’s in your favor to act like they are though, so it’s not surprising.

You only get the debuff if you leave yourself. If you get kicked, you don’t get the debuff. I’m guessing you also forgot about when people would just AFK or troll hard begging to be kicked so they didn’t have to get the debuff.
