Not full Bard yet I still have to slog through leveling as a Ranger. I guess my character can sing while he shoots things though.
Do Bards get the option of what instrument they play? I liked how EQ bards could pat a drum and run ridiculously fast.
your combat instrument is a harp but when you unlock bard you get access to Perfomances which lets you choose what type of intrument sound you make when you play music

I am actually willing to get a proper game license at this point but I cannot figure out any way to do so.
There’s a notice on the launcher that an upgrade is no longer available through the mog station, you have to go to their online store. The online store won’t let me login with my squenix account.
Oh, well, I have like ten more levels of trial anyway.
If you’re playing the game through Steam, then you have to buy all your licenses and expansions through Steam as well. It should (?) just register anything you buy basically automatically then.
Oh, well that’s actually easier. I can buy stuff on Steam.
e: Hmm…I could’ve sworn I got it on Steam but it’s not showing up in my Steam games at all. It doesn’t have any record of me installing it. Not sure if that’s because it’s free? I can’t imagine having gone out of my way to try this thing unless it was from a game store I already browse, at least not back when I first did…

I actually bought it through the Squenix store because it was cheaper by… a great deal. They were doing some sort of sale. Though it surprised me because I had checked Steam as well expecting it to be cheaper and it was not.
