Guess what, if you’re on the fence and you see how this whole prepatch has gone thus far, you’re going to skip it. On top of that Delves look boring, etc. They’ve been out of ideas for quite a while. I’m just telling you how it made me feel, glad I’ve unsubbed. I won’t let the door hit me, don’t worry.
I don’t play games I don’t find fun.

Yea, don’t play games you don’t have fun with, luckily this is still the best game for what I do
Fair enough, I speak only for me. Played SoD through most of phase 2, phase 1 was really unique and interesting, by end of phase 2 it wasn’t. Played Classic through Wrath, by end of Wrath the inevitable changes to RDF and the Wow Token had taken their toll. Tried Cata for a few and remembered how bad it was, moved on. Now I’ve hit the trifecta and can move on completely.

I just have to hope wow never dies, because no game even tries to have good endgame anymore lol
oh this prepatch is 100% garbage and whoever thought it up should be fired. tbc prepatch was awesome especially for a first prepatch but this after almost 20 years of wow is insulting

It’s definitely up there for worst.
I liked Legion because bosses respawned quickly and the locations were close together. Having a swarm of players flying from one area to the next was a lot of fun. The two different types of flying throws a new wrinkle into things that I hadn’t even thought of before.
They can have the event up in one area for x minutes, just have the boss respawn in that zone every 15 minutes so people just logging in or who just miss killing the boss when it initially spawns have a chance to kill it without having to wait for it to cycle around again 3 hours later.

On a level 70 bear druid, spamming swipe, at the first mini-boss: Congealed Memory.
I got 15 Residual Memories from the random memories that were “knocked off” the boss, then 26 off the boss itself.
This is on a crowded server where everyone was spamming any AOE they could, so I wasn’t tagging even a small percentage of the adds before they were dead in mid-air.
I’m not even bothering to fly to the smaller radiant echoes, because by the time I get back to the final boss, it’ll probably be dead. Plus from what I’m hearing in General, the smaller events are bugged/not spawning right, so it’s just grind-grind-grind for 1 RM per kill.

The Wrath prepatch in the final weeks of TBC was the best ever. None have come close since. It is a shame they do these zerg events instead of actually anything creative and immersive. I just can’t get hyped by spawn timers.

The simple fix is to have them closer to how they were on beta. At least there people had to do things before bosses would spawn. Not just camp a spot and wait 90 minutes.

For me it was click portal as soon as it opened, dc, log back in and hit exactly one quest mob, dc, log back in to find the boss was vaporized instantly while I was logging back in. All in under 4 minutes.

It would be nice if the final boss showed up on the map or something so we could get there before it’s immediately killed.

Northrend just finished, see you guys in 90 mins.
It does. Once you have the quest it shows you exactly where the boss spawns. You just have to be there WHEN it spawns otherwise, try again next spawn.

People shouldn’t have to schedule when to play the game in order to do a pre patch event. If you don’t log in at the exact right time and be IN the zone, no point. Blizz loves their time sink farms. Plunderstorm, Remix, now this… I thought they couldn’t possibly have made it worse than it was on beta. Fooled the hell out of me.

Just did the one in Dragonblight and nothing showed up on my map. I was there for the entire event, but missed the boss.
Tbf, I’d rather they not waste too much dev time on temporary events

yall should stop playing their pre patch so maybe blizz will do something about it
its beyond disrespectful what they did. don’t submit yourself to this
they have teams for each content, wq, dungeons, pvp…
they are a big company, they can hire people to work on their events, they just dont want to, why they would do that if their players are eating the sht they made right now?

It’s exciting every new echoes zone that comes up because we get to see how Blizzard ruined it in new and exciting ways!
