This launch is not their worst, but also not their best.
WOD takes the cake for their worst, let’s be honest. At least we were able to somewhat play the game last night. The week of WODs release, we were mostly offline altogether.
Definitely not as smooth as Legion/BfA/Shadowlands, though.
I agree that this launch was a huge failure on too many levels to count. However the stranger I watched was in precisely the same boat as the rest of us. I earned my feldrake watching him trying to get online for about an hour, then left it running an hour an early night’s rest.
Nobody got to play wod for like 3-4 days.

I mean, my dead server worked just fine sadly im out of town today for work but did the first
zone and a bunch of side content, dragon flying etc. Our boat was maybe 6 mins late?
Come to a dead server for peak experience.
Meh, I logged in a couple hours late due to work and had no trouble and a lot of fun so far.
After getting in last night, and having a rather smooth leveling experience after escaping Durotar, I’m still giving it to WoD.
I remember WotLK. Draenor was easy and smooth compared to that fiasco.
Everyone keeps saying DDoS, I don’t think it was that at all. My latency never went past 100ms and I was able to do many things once I got to the island. No stutter, no lag, no slowdown. Lots of people crowding the staring area by dock and zepplin tower.
i wasnt surprised, i think it is normal…like every time
Don’t need a DDOS when you have that many people trying to ram into one area.
id like to say shadowlands was second to none in worst launches but after seeing how people are reacting… DF might take the cake.

Was ok once I actually got past the Boat/Portal Boss! That took about an hour and a half.
I have had ZERO issues with this xpac and I am not a streamer. Everything is working as intended for me…
Not a streamer or streamers posse and i didnt see anything wrong with the launch. the boat was a little late, but other than that i havnt had any problems
Well DF wasn’t DDoS’d, but WoD launch was DDoS’d. This launch is nothing compared to WoD. Articles online with Blizz confirming the attacks.
I remember people standing around the un-clickable spyglass forever to create their garrisons.
You clearly weren’t around for WoD’s launch 
I’m honestly pissed about all this, went and spent my last 30 for 60 days so I could play as the new Dracthyr Evoker because everywhere I read up about it said it came out on November 28 2022 but that is clearly not the case. I honestly don’t know what to say other then this pisses me off to high hell…
Are we just pretending like the WoD expansion launch doesnt exist now? Honey, DFs launch doesnt even make into the top 10 worst mmo launches, go eat a snickers everything will be ok.
