Worried FFXIV will kill WoW

Pretty sure they are not. Id love more world content that isnt brain dead world quest system related.

I didn’t say WoW was an RPG, I said it was an adventure game.

Are you even reading my posts before replying to them?

I was honestly considering quitting wow after SL if they didn’t check some boxes for next expansion, those boxes being no more borrowed power, solution to early-expansion flying, etc and they did most of them so I’m giving it a shot. But I’m being cautious about it still, beta experience was great but who knows what they will sneak into extra patches.

I mean it’s not an adventure game either lol.

You said ff is basically a coloring book. Wow is mainly a mmoRPG. Hence the comparison.

Star citizen isn’t even going to come out. All it is is a glorified demo of No Mans Sky.
Anyone who bought into Scam Citizen is automatically an eedeeot in my books and all their arguements and opinions should largely be ignored.

The OP is so precious.

Loading screens aside, FFXIV is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and wish I could forget and rediscover agai, right alongside Skyrim. Not many games that make you feel that way.

Admittedly Demon Hunter is REAAAALLY good in all aspects of the game. Top 2 Tank, Top 3 PVP Spec, and I think they are also in a really great spot in DPS.
I could see Demon Hunters having a good time, if even for a bit.
Druids? Paladins? Lmao no.

Legion & BFA had titanforging on world quest rewards.

That’s ALL that the “game needs more content” complaints are about: Titanforging. 100%

Nothing else matters to them except titanforged world quest drops.

The moment that titanforging appeared in Legion, the previous decade of WoW - which they had played - became the Worst Game Ever Released, because overnight the only thing that mattered was titanforged world quest drops.

In their minds, the game was renamed World of Titanforged World Quest Drops, and the fact that it isn’t that anymore is an unforgivable sin on Blizzard’s part.

I think getting rid of titan forging was probably one of the best things bliz has done in recent memory.

But…I totally got a cool certificate for spending money on ships :frowning_with_open_mouth:.

Have you tried saving your certificate as a JPEG and making it into an NFT? Might be worth something.

No but not a bad idea lol.

No Man’s Sky is such a bizarre entry into the survival genre.

I play a lot of survival games, have lots of friends who do, and we took one peek at No Man’s Sky and thought “this game is trash”.

But it got a ton of money and marketing and lots of people tried it. Friends of mine who know I play a lot of survival games tried it, then came to me and said “I tried No Man’s Sky and I don’t see what you like about these games.”

And I replied, “No Man’s Sky is Trash. I told you it was going to be Trash. Try The Long Dark or Empyrion Galactic Survival or Subnautica, instead.”

I personally don’t like No Mans Sky but I found the youtube video “The Goodening of No Mans Sky” by internet historian to be very interesting and absolutely worth the time.
Check it out if you are bored this sunday.
But yeah No Mans Sky is still a big no for me.

I have a backlog of unplayed games in my steam library so large that I’m never bored.

(And that’s without even playing Kerbal Space Program anymore. I had to go cold turkey on that, it was consuming my life.)

I heard Yoshi P said something pretty racist recently so I don’t think FFXIV is on the right track!

No he didn’t.

I’m going to assume you read that stupid, clickbait Kotaku article that removed like 80% of the context.

To my memory, it wasn’t titanforging that made Legion and BfA feel better. I think it was that WQs were generally less annoying and felt more rewarding even without proccing warforging or titanforging. Not sure if it was a difference in the gear rewards or the “nothing points” for those expansions feeling more worthwhile than the Shadowlands equivalents.

Personally at least removing titanforging had practically zero impact on my play.
