I think most players who speak of “epic wpvp battles” are remembering something that happened once every few years. And in fact they won because they outnumbered the enemy anyway.
I really think a lot of people were deceived into rolling on pvp servers by players misremembering the realities of pvp servers or misrepresenting them.
All my friends rolled on a pvp server. I did not. I know some of them don’t seem to be playing anymore.
Maybe in retail, this is not the issue in vanilla.
World pvp isn’t some stand up honorable thing.
Why would you hang out where you just killed some people and wait for their backup?

The only time to do that is if you have superior mobility and can string them out and take them on in ones and twos.

Horde heavily outnumber ally on most PvP servers. Horde, if you want a real challenge come to Heartseeker. When I was on Stalagg the Horde were always running around holding each other’s nuts. If you saw one Horde it was guaranteed that there were 2 more close by.
Lmao literally. They’ll wave at you and you’re just doing whatever you set out to do. But if some other goon horde shows up they double back to find you and then you have to win the 2v1 and spit on their corpses because they’re garbage.
Just one little thing I would like to know. Was it the raid group that packs up and leaves the ones that lied?

You also need to realize there are a TON of people who aren’t doing world PvP right now due to there being zero rewards. I imagine it will pick up quite a bit on both sides.

Horde will always dominate numbers… if you roll ally you have to play smart. Its always been that way. Roll through stir some things up and kerp iy moving.

I play a feral druid on herod. I chose alliance on herod because I wanted to be on the faction that was outnumbered. It gives me more players to kill. If my server became balanced, I would want to transfer off to an unbalanced realm. So hopefully blizzard doesn’t do anything to balance servers.
Also, how do you get camped on a feral druid for 45 minutes? Just stealth lol.
