Hmm… since when? AFAIK, this seems to be quite a new thing that some people are saying, but I don’t know where the numbers are coming from.
I have always been under the impression that Alliance had more numbers. Perhaps, after releasing Belfs, more and more Alliance flocked to Horde, and I think I’ve heard of pro pvpers (who mostly play Arena though, and that wouldn’t affect WPVP or even BGs as much).
Again, this is just AFAIK, as I don’t claim to have numbers on this stuff. This is just the impression that I’ve had. If anyone actually does have any sources to numbers, please do share.
I dont gank people I see when im doing stuff, but if another horde is fighting alliance I always join in.
Alliance was the dominant faction until they added belves to the horde in TBC, which they did because in the east the imbalance was even for skewed towards alliance.
Everyone going horde in retail happened because of the pretty elves, and only got worse as racial abilities became imbalanced for a long period of time, and once enough raiders move to one faction, you kind of av to go too if you want to raid.
The declining retail playerbase has made it so some servers are viable for mythic raiding and some are not, unless you only want a choice of 1 out of 1 guild.
Vanilla had a higher alliance pop, unlike classic, so imagine how hard playing ally will be when the people who play alliance to be pretty reroll to play a blood elf so they can be pretty while having the horde faction numbers for endgame content.

Most battles are won in numbers.
There are exceptions, but they involve exceptional tactics and lots of organization.
Seeings how this video game isn’t an actual military organization bound by orders and forced to be here or there at appropriate times, this means that numbers will always win.
We do help each other lol

No, it’s YOU guys that do that!
Or maybe, just possibly…it’s everyone that does that?
Yes, the faux tribalism makes the game fun, but seriously…Horde and Alliance are the same people. Both wait for you to engage mobs before ganking your level 30 hunter on their level 60 rogue. Both corpse camp you with four of their friends, doing douchey slow-walks on their mounts around your body.
If there’s any difference at all between Horde and Alliance, it’s down to the faction balance of your particular server.
Gnomes on the other hand…
I’m a DD Alliance player. When out in the world, I live and let live until I am attacked.
The Pirates Cove in Tanaris has been quite contentious recently.
If you ever want to quest in the same area while sipping some coffee, I’d be happy to coordinate on the DD Discord!

I like world pvp.
Here is my experience just today:
Farming in blasted lands. There is an afk 60 human warrior and a 50ish paladin. I run by them, np. They watch me kill something and i move on.
So im picking flowers and now the warrior has 3 other friends with him. He jumps off hisn mount and charges me with his friends. I almost kill him, but just 4v1 against me a rogue is almost impossible.
I res, the proceed to kill every alliance i came across more than once in some cases.

Im on Faerlina. Been doing wpvp while leveling.
Ymmv but its so much fun
Getting outnumbered sux but luckiky my pvp character is Rogue and I can pick fights. You should check it out.
Im actually thinking the honor system wont be this huge deal. The ones out there already will be the same ones farming and I wonder how many perfectionists will be able to leave MaurOnyBRD and SM paid runs.
Also
I have a feeling BGs are literally around the corner.
GL OP
Y Rogue party is the party
If I played a Druid I wouldn’t be having fun in pvp either.
This is why tbc servers will be a mistake
back at square one with horde pallies and a 90% belf horde
You just named 3 terrible games so yes I do.
nah, world pvp/pvp in general is quite fun. The adrenaline rushes from ganking people and being pursued by mobs of ticked off horde is addicting.

Just do what I did , make a horde character, get 3-4 friends to level with, and kill every alliance you see along the way, especially during their escort quests. Its really hilarious and fun to ruin their time! PVP is OP!
Actually you’re delusional, most if not a large majority remember the awesome World PVP before arenas and it was glorious.
Maybe your just not good at pvp, or are used to pounding people down 3v1!
We were at Crimson Watch doing Argent dawn quests last night 4 of us levels 54, 54, 52, and me at 51.
About 5-7 level 60 Horde show up killing the NPCs and Argent Dawn Quest givers. We devise a plan and run in kill the Warrior, Rogue, Priest. couple of us die.
We rez they are eating we attack again kill the Shaman, the Warlock.
They call for help! Hahahahaa against 4 lvl 50s… We call for help 2-3 lvl 60s Alliance show up. We proceed to stomp them like water bugs it was GLORIOUS!!!
