No if anything i think wow could get huge boost, i think they are gearing up to start slowly prepping the game for an xbox release, even if it requires a keyboard to play on xbox it would increase the population by a decent amount i imagine. That’s just a guess though, but the consoles should run the game fine

New UI, I hope they copy one thing from FFXIV, making it so you can move and resize all UI elements. such as move the world map, resize the frame, and zoom the contents, so you can have a tiny map off in a corner, showing close detail of the area you’re in.
One great thing in FFXIV is that you can easily move temporary items around at any time without going into configuration mode. Want a bank bag right next to the backpack bag you’re moving stuff between, just drag them next to each other.

i’m not so stoked that they can only be the one class, and not some of the old classes. but… dragon race isnt new or some kink. WoW takes very heavy inspiration from DnD, as do most RPGs obviously, beings its basically the grandfather of the genre. and DnD has a dragon race. it was really only a matter of time.
Dont get why you guys are drooling over player housing? To sit there all day and do nothing? lol

Perhaps I’m alone in this, as I’m not seeing it in the comments, but what I was looking for, was an announcement during the reveal, that they would be upgrading the graphics. It’s far past time for that to occur. As for what’s been presented, I love the whole idea of the Dragon Isles, and being able to customize a mount, but I’m very dubious about this race/class combo thing. I guess time will tell if that’s an idea that can work.

Profession updates seem interesting, but will this apply to fishing in any way? Aside from Hirukon there has been nothing noteworthy about fishing since Legion Artifact.
This also applies to secondary professions as a whole, cooking is a shadow of it’s former glory having been on a steady decline since MoP. Archaeology is long since abandoned. Will there be any updates applied to these?

Also, I have to agree, the DK and DH hero was basically nerfed, so yeah, why have it now in a new race?.. The flying bit does look cool, but I hope it’s not just hype to quell the thought of bad/poor or rushed work to get us excited about something that could end up a disastrous mess anyway. All things aside, I hope this new expac will be a neutral good for everyone.

Have to say I have guarded optimism. I like what I’m hearing so far, a change up is at least different and definitely looking forward to the talent trees, one of the things I was really upset at losing way back when.
I really like the idea of work orders, it always seemed to me something they could have added, even in the AH on the level, hey, I’m looking for X at Y price and this seems to fit a good niche.
Really really guarded about the professions. sounds good, but given the nonsense of legendary crafting, I’m really wondering about their implementation. I sincerely hope their ‘really work at it’ is not the equivalent of ‘toss tons of gold at it’ to improve, because it will quickly devolve into a mess.
As for Ducks. Well, the duck lovers have finally gotten what they asked for. 
SL had a lot of what sounded good but we saw the implementation. And just their enthusiasm about ZM and how it was designed with player feedback in mind makes me question what players are you listening to? If that’s their benchmark, the new expansion has me concerned.
But I like WoW, I like exploring characters and story and this at least is different. As for the rest, we’ll see I guess, eventually.
I play FFXIV also. For some players, housing is a creative thing, furnishing your house in amazing ways, often combining things to appear as something completely different. Search Youtube for FFXIV house tours to see what players are doing with them. It’s the whole game for them.
I don’t do it myself because I find the houses claustrophobic, pushing my camera in all the time.
I just hope they didn’t use this opportunity to hype us up only to give us something bland and tasteless… something with no spine and no excitement.
Also… can wrath wait a bit longer? I’m not done farming Naxx 40 for my sword, thanks.
Can this be updated to include the various off-site interviews that occur? I know Wowhead posts them but stuff gets buried quickly over there.

This should have everyone worried as it indicates that they haven’t learned the lesson that they shouldn’t listen to the minority.

The Biggest disappointment that WoW need to correct is there ever persistence in resetting the talent trees. They really need to stop that crap. Everytime an expansion comes out they reset the talent trees which means resetting action bars and re-learning how to play characters over and over again. JUST STOP IT, already. I have fourteen characters, and for the past few years, ever since they started changing talent trees…I have only played maybe three characters because it take hours to reset everything up and most time I only have hours to play so I don’t want to spend that time setting a character then have to log off and wait a week until i have more time so I can actually see if the change is good. Just STOP. Stop changing the talent trees. Its like having a house with a shifting foundation… the house eventually falls, then you have to rebuild from scratch.

Can you just relax? the game wont be out for a long time. Have you completely forgotten BFA and SL launches? Wait for the beta, see how it looks… then preorder if it deems ok.
My god, people complain about being poor and blaming rich corporations then go out and hand them a ton of money based on a 2 minute cinematic… LOL
