World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King team, hello. I am a player from the Taiwan region of the Asian servers, representing millions of players who have come here to bring you some very bad and terrible news. The servers in the Taiwan region of the Asian servers have completely collapsed, and the game administrators have completely ignored the situation. For example, on the Eversong server and the Arathi Basin server of the global servers, the queue has reached a catastrophic level of 7,000-8,000 by 7 o’clock in the morning. Normal players are completely unable to play the game. When searching in the game, all you see are thieves farming gold in the Black Temple, and it’s evident that they are all operated by gold farming studios. I suspect that each server has tens of thousands or even more of these script-based thieves. It’s been said that such a script can help a thief account obtain 30,000 gold coins in a day. However, we have reported this issue multiple times on the Taiwanese forums and to the GMs, but they have completely ignored us players. We are now unable to play the game properly. The PTR for the Trial of the Crusader has already been opened, which means the Trial of the Crusader will be launched soon. Players are excited to play the Wrath of the Lich King version, but we can’t log into the game! We can’t log into the game! Queueing with 8,000 people! A queue time of 20 hours! And these servers are in an unlocked state. They were locked for a period of time, but the foolish GMs unlocked them again. We hope that the Blizzard administrators can take notice of and intervene in this matter. We paid to play the game, but we are wasting our subscription fees without being able to access the game! I really want to curse the GMs in the Taiwan region! To make matters worse, there is inappropriate adult content in the World of Warcraft forums in the Asian Taiwan region, and it hasn’t been taken care of! It’s simply rubbish! Please conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, and provide players with a fair gaming environment!

Its done.
Unfortunately there are more pressing issues we should resolve first, like infernal not resetting.
After that we can talk about Taiwan servers.
This reminds me of trying to play on Benediction at launch.
Blizzard failed their playerbase in both Taiwan and China.
Better learn to use Teamviewer like we had to at launch.
I somehow doubt someone went out of their way all the way from Taiwan to make a thread on the US forums with a sock puppet.
Blizzard, I’m gonna keep asking … battle tags for the WoW forums would be appreciated anytime.
Do you think I wanted to come all the way here, pay for a subscription and level up to 10 just to make a forum post? It’s because I couldn’t bear it any longer, and the Taiwan representatives are completely unresponsive, that I came here to vent my frustrations. After all, Blizzard’s headquarters is in the United States, not in Taiwan.
Open your eyes bro. Bots have infested all corners of the game to supply the RMTers, making entire servers in Asia unplayable. This isn’t the first time Asian players have come here to get the word out about their situation because Blizzard doesn’t have the balls to start permabanning RMTers.
It is currently 8:40 AM in the GMT+8 time zone. The Arathi Basin server in the Taiwan region is already at capacity with 9,500 players
It is a pity that players in Asia zones suffer so much from bots and RMT. Some potential actions that can help this situation:
- Frequent bans on bot accounts
- Bans for player who buys gold from bots
- Reduce gold / grays drop rate from old dungeons/ raids
I dunno why this guy is like this, I’ve seen him be sceptical on other forum posters. I believe you and hope they can do something about it. I don’t have a clue what but you’re doing good work bringing it to their attention because they will see this post.
Man. Every post you make is exactly like your reply here. Why do you have your forum user profile hidden?
Hi.
Pete and repeat were sitting on a log. Pete fell off. Who was left?
yeah i’m pretty sure it was the chinese government that failed the chinese wow players by forcing ridiculous requirements to allow WoW to be played and blizzard had enough of it
Unfortunately that is not the case.
Blizzard just broke up with NetEase which runs chinese WOW. It is just business.
Paragraphs pls!
Blame Hardcore players for stealing resources.
Bump, i also play on taiwanese server Ivus, and have already made multiple posts here about the issue.
Trolls always ask me why i post here about Asia server…guess they dont understand blizzard is a north American company…
These are the US forums. There’s no reason to ever talk about Taiwan servers here.
