What is “respect my time”? And in what way?
I’d argue it would make LFR look like paradise.
That’s great to hear. Maybe if I ever found a group like yours I’d consider raiding again.
also take some time off , play other games , go out
The fact that we still have to run back to bosses after death and buffs don’t persist after death is why I don’t Raid nowadays outside lfr.
Curious because I feel like this is the often the least efficient and enjoyable.
Last time they did respect your time it was the WoD expansion and they never lost so many subs so quickly.
They actually spoke out in an interview about it to apologize and that they would not be doing this again.
Yep. It’s because Blizzard made so many things optional and didn’t tell players what they need to do. If players aren’t told what to do, they won’t do anything and then complain there is nothing to do.
Last I check lfr you also need to run back to the boss after you wipe.
If you’re talking about food buff you can make a ring that would help you not lose your food buff even if yo die. Also this has always been a thing since wow’s inception. Not sure why you think it’s any different. And food buff right now are cheap that they cost less than 5 gold each. With flask these persist thru death and I doubt anyone uses augment runes atm other than the bleeding edge players.
Maybe I missed those. I saw a lot of suggestions of getting partial rewards for almost finishing on time. That way you don’t get the same result for missing by 1 second as you would 10 minutes I.e nothing.
Its actually not a ring, just most of us put it on our ring.
Just fyi.
I don’t read this as mean. My issue isn’t fear. I have zero anxiety in this game. My issue is my crazy schedule. It makes finding good people who share my goals AND my schedule very hard to find. That’s why a pick up and play mode would help me out. It’s why I can’t raid with a dedicated group as well.
play a tank or a healer
put “completion” in ur group description (requires authenticator, I can’t actually do this because blizzard misclassifies my phone number…)
See my previous reply just above to Snozy. I guess I missed stark penalties. I liked the idea of getting partial rewards for ALMOST finishing on time. It would incentivize people to keep going when it’s clear you won’t beat the timer.
I’m happy for you. Try working a job where you are constantly on call, you do shift work, and your schedule constantly changes and then try and do content with a dedicated group. It’s pretty hard to find someone who checks all the boxes of:
- Fun
- Similar skill level
- Similar goals
- Same schedule (this is the kicker)
I get this is a me problem, but I’d like a solo-shuffle option for M+ even knowing my chances of succeeding are lower.
The OP, very first post. Is that if anyone leaves at any time ever, without 3 people agreeing to “surrender”, they get punished.
2 hours into a key and 3 people dont want to quit? You cant either. Or you get punished.
In LFD as long as you kill 1 boss, you dont get it.
My issue with a solo queue system is the constant backlash that will arise from the queue system putting together poor group comps. And the constant need for the dungeons to be nerfed so that queue-groups can have success.
These are good points. I do see blizzard eventually doing solo q for m+ like they have PvP though. Who knows, but selfishly it would benefit me. At least I think so.
Maybe up to a certain level.
But without some pretty intense algorithms to ensure group comps are ok…which then are gonna have people complain that they randomly take a lot longer to get a group.
I just see it offering massive complaints and massive pressure to remove dungeon design creativity if it happens. Giving us an over all worse product.
I assumed the bolded portion. I was thinking you would solo-q up to like +10 keys which would allow you to meet others and maybe make some lasting relationships to push higher.
While I don’t disagree with the subject, since you playing WoW means the development is making $, I can find fault with anything underneath. That is mostly on the player’s inability so socialize.
