World of Warcraft doesn't respect your time

You thinking that the player count is because m+ exists is silly.

WoW’s player count has decreased every expansion that we didnt have jousting dailies.

Furthermore. WoW’s palyer count has decreased every expansion since having a queue system.

Again

That is the nature of doing pugs, you accept there’s a higher chance of your group failing because you’ve found a group faster/easier. If you can’t find a group faster/easier for a pug, you don’t bother because it takes too long, and there’s less people doing pugs.

Your solution for solving this problem is “just don’t pug content”, which is pointless. It’s not a solution. Having barriers in place to make finding trustworthy people to do pugs who don’t leave, or only leave if the group agrees makes people more likely to do pug content. Then you’re not stuck waiting around to find a group again.

Agreed

Raiders think M+ and is more efficient for gear farming and claim it’s disincentivizing raiding
If you liked old dungeons, M+ killed that
M+ has required a lot more investment, so everything else has suffered because of it.

It just sucks up too much oxygen

Feel free to provide any data backing your obnoxious opinion, and good luck with that lol.

M+ is the best thing to happen to WoW and is why its now the main play of the game.

Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean anything except YOU have an opinion.

You can disagree without being a jerk

I’m trying to imagine how you’d do something like that; Like do you have the key start from Zero and everyone just keeps running or does someone just punch their key in and it randomly assembles a party or…?

Most WoW content is designed around pre made groups, M+ is designed around playing with friends or a premade group, the side mechanic of using a LFG system for pugs is just a way to enable players to do the same mechanic with random players but Devs didn’t take that as their main goal.

Example, Solo shuffle was designed around doing gameplay sessions with random players and it beat the regular 3v3,2v2 arenas in popularity because a lot of new players want games like League, OW, Valorant, Fornite…etc on which you can just queue and do a quick gameplay session without looking for other players.

I don’t think M+ will receive any treatment regarding LFG options in order to improve queue times, maybe remove key depletion or surrender options in order to reduce the toxic environment but that won’t fix the queues, best option find a group of friends/community.

Obnoxious is not being a jerk, its describing your opinion. Stop being a troll

My solution is accepting the nature of pugs.

My solution to “pugging is hard” is “find friends”. I am not here to make solutions for pugging to be easier for challenging content. That is intended.

My solutions are to help people achieve within the content. Not to help pugging.

Because pugging will never have the success rate of not-pugging. And I find that acceptable.

But these barriers will limit who does pug. It will make for a more negative environment for those that do pug.

So it will lower the playerbase, and make more people more negative.

All so that what…you can finish an expired key?

Is finishing expired keys the goal here? Is that what pugs really want?

Exactly, I don’t know why people think anyone is asking for a M+ queue. People just want better tools for their premade groups because that is what most of WoW’s content is designed around.

Yes. Raiders think that anything that prevents them from raiding logging 6 hours a week is bad. We get it.

This is true. I used to run dungeons rather than running circles in dalaran. Now I actually have something relevant to do.

Weird take. Considering Legion had more content than cata, mop and wod combined.

Boosting? Would be my guess.

So lets buff raiding.

Do old dungeons no longer exist?

What investment? It requires very little investment.

Oxygen that would be going to what, exactly?

Specifically, what are we no longer getting?

BG maps for one thing. Five years and counting.

You think M+ existing is why BG maps arent being made?

They arent being made because its a selection of content for an extremely small and niche part of the player base.

Because it does not take much to create a BG map. The existence of M+ is not why BG maps do no exist.

The lack of a BG player base is why new ones do not exist.

I mean, fair guess considering how common boosts are mentioned

The ultimate answer was, I play a tank

If you want super easy time getting into mythics and what not, be a tank or healer cuz they’res a way smaller pool to pick from with those than a dps

If it doesn’t take much, why don’t they make them?

Well…

Again, why do you claim to not care about making pugs better, and people should just be running with guilds/friends/etc, but any changes to attempt to make pugs better will make people less likely to pug, but you don’t actually care about more people pugging and want them to run with guilds/friends/etc? Your logic makes no sense.
