Ok so I’m testing their ‘snapping’ right now and it’s ok but its not very aggressive in it’s ‘snapping’. You have to precisely lay it out still as it still doesn’t line up super well. It exists…but it still needs work. It doesn’t seem to consider the grid size very well with its snapping.

Boo! Hope they don’t just give up on this.
Honestly it’s not too bad if you use the larger grids, but it doesn’t really consider your frame and trying to line it up in the middle of a line.
From what I played around on the PTR to now finally on BETA it’s much better already.

They still have a few months to get everything in order. I bet the interface and HUD it’s gonna be a ongoing effort.
The one thing that has prevented me from removing UI elements in prep for Dragonflight is one silly little thing: UI scale. Has there been an improvement to ‘UI scale’ in beta or prepatch where it is retained and allows setting very small values like 0.4 in the Blizzard default UI?
For a 4K screen, obviously.

I agree on the more bars. I’ve got a complicated setup so I can see things that I need. I tend to mouse over along with my game pad so I have both things going across all the spells. I use basically the same setup on all my alts as well.
I’m excited that the UI is being made to move around without a bunch of add-ons. I have been moving things around like that for quite awhile now. I would like to have more bars available.

things to improve ASAP otherwise people will use addons for -
- I would like to be able to resize the minimap.
- I would like the chat box to be updated and modernized (make it more like the Glass add-on)
- I would like to be able to make the action bars have less than 6 icons/buttons, currently the minimum you can have is 6 per action bar.
- I would like to be able to move/hide my bags and the help menu which currently are locked to the bottom right corner of the screen.
- I would like to be able to move the FPS counter, currently it sits right in the centre of the screen when I turn it on.
- I would like to be able to resize anything and everything either larger or smaller. Some things only allow me to make them smaller in scale and other things won’t even let me scale them at all (minimap for example)
- Raid frames should show how much shields players have regardless of if they have missing HP or not. I.e the shield bar should “grow” from the left side of the health bar. If the shield is 50% of the players health then there should be a blue “shield bar” that takes up half of the health bar from the left to the middle, if the shield is 100% of the players health then there should be a blue “shield bar” covering the whole health bar, as the player takes damage the “shield bar” regresses to the left from the right just like a normal health bar would and once the shield is gone then the health bar starts emptying like normal.
- Raid frames should become very obvious when the player has a debuff that can be dispelled on them.

You can resize the chat box but I would love to see them re-do and modernize the chat box. Also let me resize the minimap please!
You’re able to make the healthbars very large now, you’re able to scale them beyond 100% size. unfortunately lots of other things don’t scale at all or will only let you scale them smaller.
They finally fixed that? Haven’t been on there for like almost 2 weeks, but even then didn’t check at that time.
