Worgen bug

So i just bought the new expansion Dragonflight, and after using the gear upgrade both of my worgens are now stuck as humans. I get into combat, they’re humans. I die, they’re humans. I try to transform into a Worgen by using the racial, nothing happens. I’m not really looking forward into creating new ones from scratch, so i’d like to see if i could get some support here.

Did you happen to use the Gear Update while they were still in their starting area and before they were transformed via the quests?

I used the gear update when they were level 50. This is an old character. I just now noticed every other worgen i create, a DK for instance; is also bugged upon creation.

I see a couple of threads up on Bug Reports with other people saying they’re also having this issue.

I would suggest you go and post in either of those, so that the Devs get a better idea of how many folks are running into this. There are probably more, but these were the topmost ones I saw.

Stuck as a human, Worgen

I’ve tried disabling all addons, restarting the game, toggling Calm the Wolf and Two forms on and off, and I’m stuck as a human no matter what I do, on my main worgen druid. Level 47. Activating Running Wild transforms me, but right back into human when it ends. The Two Forms button does nothing while I’m human either. ETA: I did the “welcome back” character reset thing.

I am having the same issue. After 10 years came back to the game now my Worgun is stuck as a human after using the in game updategear option. Both my Huner and Druid are effected.

I’m not really looking forward into creating new ones from scratch, so i’d like to see if i could get some support here.

You shouldn’t have to. We are aware of the issues and our Dev and QA teams are looking into it and what can be done to get those transformations working right again.

literally just happened to me, after choosing the gear update option my worgen warrior is stuck as a human. Im shocked that this issue is almost or at least almost 2 months old and still on going.

Bugs are triaged by their impact such as the number of players it is happening to and how game-breaking the bug is. This issue isn’t happening to everybody. It doesn’t appear to be totally game-breaking. It is an issue with current content. The first two points could lower the priority of the bug fix, and the third would up it’s priority. This kind of bug happening for months generally indicates that it doesn’t have a simple resolution.

I am also having the same issue on my worgen DK as decribed, did the exact things too. Hope they look into it. Its kinda just annoying than game breaking

There aware of it and looking into it acording to vrak but fixing isnt as easy as rewriting a single line of code.
