I’ve tried disabling all addons, restarting the game, toggling Calm the Wolf and Two forms on and off, and I’m stuck as a human no matter what I do, on my main worgen druid. Level 47.
Activating Running Wild transforms me, but right back into human when it ends.
The Two Forms button does nothing while I’m human either.
ETA: I did the “welcome back” character reset thing.
So, you remain in human form in combat?
Well, that’s different. And by different, I mean “exactly the same as a ‘normal’ Stormwind human.”
I wonder (as you seem to) whether the Character Update thing broke something.
That’s my only answer; I’ve done the same exact thing on a level 10 balance druid and she logged in as Worgen form.
I also checked for glyphs, I don’t have any applied

Yep.
The same thing happened to me during a rift. I went from a troll to a human. It’s a spell, you can get out of it by clicking it off on the icon top right corner.
I don’t have any active buffs that I can see

Decided to open a ticket to see if I have any hidden issues a gm can remove or something.
I tried /cancelaura for calm the wolf and that didn’t work either, nor restting my character synchronization settings, nor resetting my ui. My other worgen can transform just fine
ETA: My ghost is a human even.

I’ve the same issue. So i just bought the new expansion Dragonflight, and after using the gear upgrade both of my worgens are now stuck as humans. I get into combat, they’re humans. I die, they’re humans. I try to transform into a Worgen by using the racial, nothing happens. I’m not really looking forward into creating new ones from scratch, so i’d like to see if i could get some support here. I used the gear update when they were level 50. This is an old character. I just now noticed every other worgen i create, a DK for instance; is also bugged upon creation.
Same issue here. After updating my old character with the in-game option on my old hunter I can no longer use two forms. The character changes when using running wild and that is it.
exact same issue here, running wild transforms me but nothing else does. the salon still shows my worgen form though? i made a new hunter recently and he’s fine so far. really hoping this gets fixed, worgen are one of my favs to play as :,)

Having the same issue! I restored a deleted Worgen Death Knight and used the Gear Update (which bugged out a lot of my character’s action bars sadly), and he is stuck in Human form. Using Two Forms doesn’t work, and I remain human in combat. Its kinda cool but definitely a bug!
Has anyone heard anything about a fix or progress yet? My main has been stuck as a human for a WHILE now and I’m not a fan. I was hoping I would’ve been able to find some sort of update by now since it’s been months.
Yep same issue here… on one of my chars… seems to work fine on my other worgen characters

I have the same issue as well… The racial works an for that time im a worgen but then back to being boring old human.
This bug needs to get fixed for real. But with Microsoft buying out blizzard, an the update for emerald dream comming… either the bug fix will be in it or the fix will never come… pretty normal of blizzard, with out major content creators bringing up the issue they dont care. Other wize it would have been fixed days after it was a known bug… thats just how things work.
I opened a ticket for my issue. It happened after a Gear Upgrade, I presume. I haven’t played my Worgen in a long while but last I recall, he transformed fine. I came back on him today, did the Gear Upgrade before even logging him in… and then was stuck as a human.
I played a bit and was so caught up trying to get my UI sorted, I didn’t even realize I wasn’t shifting into a wolfman.
Two Forms does nothing, Calm the Wolf doesn’t either. I can only be a worgen when plainsrunning and during Darkflight…
A GM fixed it! He had to log in as my account and character, ultimately. He “did some things” … I am dying to know the technical details but of course, that’s all on their side.
I suggest you open a ticket. I opened a ticket about item/loot because I couldn’t do it for “character issues.”
