See, what even is this?
“isn’t a decision, it’s an action”
What does that even mean? When you act, you make that decision.
What is this guy on?

My father used RaF on an account for me to play on, we had several characters max level compared to a one time 58. Under his name, which we transferred into my name later as I was a kid back then. From personal experience, this pales in comparison. I actually heavily benefited from this when I was younger. I lost my warlock I had made in classic as it was stuck on his account, but I had several new characters characters now so who cared? One of them I didn’t even level or play, but oh wait, it was level 60. That’s some instant gratification you’re claiming wasn’t there, along with my other two characters I had maxed just chilling with my father who was teaching me the game as we leveled them up.
You can claim it didn’t make a difference, but it most definitely did.
Ahh an anecdote.
Easily countered by me telling you the opposite experience from my end.
You can claim it made a difference, but it most definitely did not.
You’re welcome to make that post and stun people with your logic and facts and whatever. I’m sure that’ll go over smoothly. Make it happen!
Apparently farming 100g and swapping your bars isn’t an action.
You realize I don’t even advocate the boost right? I don’t care about it, I have the boost on my account right now for a character I don’t even play. I’ve got two level 70’s I actually leveled, this one and a priest. I use my boosted druid as a glorified disenchanter. I don’t care if we removed the 58 boost, my point is RaF was far more broken and I’m glad they didn’t implement that, which is why I don’t care one bit about the new players boosting a 58 that has nothing. I had to buy a ton of materials off the AH to level my profession, that took time and gold the new players wouldn’t have, they have to start from scratch.
You complain about something that isn’t even a shadow in comparison to what was back then.
I had 3 characters leveled in the original TBC at a fraction of the game time it took me to level my two 70’s, and even that druid who I still haven’t leveled to 70 because I can’t be bothered with it. He makes me materials for my two characters to get enchanted. That’s it lol…
You complain about something
When did I complain about this?
Nice comeback?
Keep in mind, WoW was one of the first RPG’s to allow people to respec, even though being able to completely change your character makes no sense in a roleplaying game.
yes, and this was already a concession. respeccing at all IS THE COMPROMISE. you don’t get to have it all with dual spec. at least not in TBC.
Nice comeback?
Asking you when I complained about this is a comeback?
You sat there and said twice you didn’t want the boost in game. That boost is nothing lol… That was my point. I’m not a bit bothered by it, why are you? I would’ve been bothered by RaF because that was actually broken, it’s why I brought it up.
I argued against the boost before the boost. We got the boost.
Anything else I should argue against before they inevitably put it in the game?
You sat there and said twice you didn’t want the boost in game.
Correct. And when people click on the quotes you’re posting here, they’re going to inevitably see the following:
I’ve simply acknowledged I’m in the minority on these things. My opinion doesn’t matter.
So, what point are you trying to make?
You escalated this, I simply made a comparison to your opinion to show you we’re better off now than then. I didn’t insult you, yet you start laughing and goading me into replying trying to get a rise out of me. I didn’t say your opinion was blatantly wrong, simply that the past had a bigger problem than what we have now.
That was my entire takeaway before you laughed and told me to make a post and see how far I get. You’re childish, plain and simple.
That’s the new point I’m making, have a good day.
I simply made a comparison to your opinion
My opinion, which, on the matter of the boost I specifically said doesn’t matter because the boost is here.
Right?
You want to argue against an opinion that I had about a ship that’s long since sailed.
yet you start laughing and goading me into replying trying to get a rise out of me.
You’re in control of whatever gets a rise out of you. Not me. You dredged up an old post with 5 hearts on it concerning an issue that died a few months ago.
You’re childish, plain and simple.
If you act like a child, you get treated like a child.
That’s the new point I’m making, have a good day.
Bye, Felicia.
I didn’t dredge it up. You literally asked for it. So…
I didn’t dredge it up. You literally ask for it.
Wait, so you said I’m a child and you said “bye” and you reply to me again?
And no, I never asked for that thread. I simply told you to make one:
Make the thread. Let’s see how far you get.
That quote is directly above the one where you linked me that thread.
No, making a decision has consequences. Setting up dual spec isn’t a decision, it’s the removal of a decision to choose a spec. Reported for trolling.

making a decision has consequences
You’re correct. If I drink a bottle of water, the consequence is I’ll have to use the bathroom later. If I flip a light switch, the consequence is the room will be illuminated. If I strike a match, the consequence is that a fire will be lit.
Setting up dual spec isn’t a decision
Spending 1000g on this facet is a decision. The consequence is you receive Dual Spec.
Clicking a button that swaps between one of two specs is a decision. The consequence is you’ve switched between one of two specs.
it’s the removal of a decision to choose a spec
No, it’s the addition of two, between which you can decide what to use.
“Near universal approval”, he said, with no evidence, on the internet.
Checks out.
Must suck to be wrong all the time

Blizzard, you said you’d work with the community on the types of QoL changes they’d like to see in TBC Classic. Dual Spec is the most talked about change and the consensus is clear, the players want Dual Spec. Nethaera: Why are we allowing players to dual spec after all this time? Ghostcrawler: We really felt like this was a great way to increase the flexibility available to players and encourage them to take part in more aspects of the game. To use just one example, some players like to pa…
Literally every poll that is done if people want DS in the game has been Yes.
Why don’t you stick your fake, non representative polls where the sun don’t shine and go back to your oh so beloved retail if you like your QoL features more than the integrity of the game.
Because that’s where your QoL features eventually lead.
