Perfect!
So, Dual Spec then! Very small change.

So, Dual Spec then! Very small change.
If horde-vs-horde queues were added because it was unfair, then wasnât dual-spec because it was unfair that tanks/healers had a much harder time farming gold, and that it was unfair that dps have such long queue times?
Dual spec absolutely benefits some classes more than others. Are you high?
Dual spec is not a small change.
no duh, what are you on about???
As weâve already clarified in previous discussion, tanks and healers do not have difficulty farming in TBC. This is a fallacious argument.
Dual spec also does not âsolveâ queue times. This is also a fallacious argument.
Who it benefits âmoreâ is utterly subjective based on the player in question.
Dual-spec doesnât change game mechanics. Buffs and debuffs are still exactly the same. You still need the same number of shaman, druids, warriors, priests, etc. You still need an enhancement shaman and an elemental shaman and a resto shaman. The specs lose none of their uniqueness.
The only thing dual-spec does it make it easier to respec.
Yes it is.
All it saves is time and, arguably, gold depending on how often you respec.
It is not.
Go respec full resto then go farm. Trust me, it is absolute garbage.
Even if you canât tolerate mob farming, there are several ways to make money that donât involve using a single offensive spell.
Or buying gold. Which is what folks inevitably start doing, as we saw all throughout WoW Classic.
The only reliable gold-maker then would be picking flowers or minerals. Which means every healer/tank would have to give up one of their other professions, and still probably make less gold-per-hour than a pure dps class.
I thought you were for fairness?
Not everybody has the same painstaking issues making money that you seem to have lol. Youâre projectingâŚ
For example, most clothies are tailors in this expansion because it has their current BIS gear.
Tailoring makes heaps of gold,
Youâre deflecting because you refuse to admit that it is much harder to farm as a tank/healer.
In fact, that was one of the main reasons people wanted dual-spec. They thought it was unfair. And this greater burden on tanks/healers(who often couldnât PvP either), made people not want to be tanks/healers, and thus made the tank/healer shortage even worse.
If youâre for fairness, then be for fairness.
How is all of us abiding by the same rules unfair?
I canât use dual spec, you shouldnât be able to use it either. Sounds fair to me. Thatâs how it currently is. Fairness achieved.
Doing what? The cloths basically sell for mats these days. The lesser spellthreads never sell, and you have to have a primal nether for the good spellthread. You can still make gold off bags, but probably not enough to justify the time investment. Only reason I bother is because I can do it in town, half-afk.
Zipzo loves deflecting. And when that doesnât work, he just talks about his feelings.
I would love dual spec, right now Iâm forced to take a half pve / half pvp spec so I can remain viable in both but I know I would be doing better if I had 2 separate specs one each for pve/pvp
Well you are a healer, so in this case, you possess some of that âfast groupingâ power without the need for dual spec. Use that to your advantage.
You have options. Blizzard does not to create them for you out of thin air with new game design that never existed in this expansion.
If anything, I feel like healers are often harder to find than tanks latelyâŚ
