Doesn’t matter whether the data is true or not. Even if it’s not, having articles coming out saying more people play FFXIV than WoW should be a shot across the bow at Blizzard to make some much needed changes.

I don’t think Blizzard cares. TBH ya’ll are fools. Blizzard is raking in way more cash with stupid phone games like candy crush. They aren’t trying to compete w/ FF or any other expensive MMO. WoW is dying and they are just going to milk whales until it’s not profitable. ZERO passion from them when it comes to games, it’s all business.

not saying there isn’t a sub loss I’m saying it doesn’t feel as bad as previous expacs in current content.
WoW’s way ahead, and both teams are friendly and visit each other’s offices often, so you can go troll twitch chats until you’re perma banned if you wanna bait people. 
No. They are too stubborn. Maybe when their patch cycles start showing decline in returning sub money, cash shop monies, and so on then maybe blizz will replace devs to get things going again

I honestly find the “weebs and furries” reference hilarious coming from a WoW player who is playing a cartoony game with Panda, Fox , Cow, and Goat people. WoW is honestly more weebish and furry than FFXIV.

It should be a wake up call. Given their stubbornness and ignoring the player base and the continual pattern of linear systems upon systems new game after each expansion I highly doubt they will take this even a grain of salt. I have completely lost all faith of Blizzard. Can they pull a FF14 1.0 reboot and new worlds etc?? No.
They are already behind due to COVID as given the recent responses. All the while other companies in the genre and across the spectrum companies have overcome and adapted.

It’s brilliant and I hope like hell that the next trilogy will focus on making the game fun while offering players unprecedented customization options.

Ahhh yes yet another thread based on 100% false info. I can’t believe all the sheeple these FFXIV have that can get them to believe anything. Last I checked that was made by a FFXIV fanperson with false facts.
Nice try though FFXIV fans. Try harder and glad you guys love hanging out on the WoW forums while us WoW players could care less about FFXIV and not feel the need to lurk their forums.

How am I supposed to know what my opinion should be if I don’t have accurate data about what everyone else thinks?
Not suggesting my experience is indicative of the overall game but i can literally do a 1-60 search on my server and the total number of players i get never exceeds the mid-40’s, that’s just how dead my faction is now on my main server.

I don’t think it will change anything. There’s still tons of players here subscribing to the game. I just came from Orgimmar on my Horde character and the place was packed with people. I don’t even play on a high pop server either.

I got my FF14 account up and running. Not sure how long I’ll be playing both.
everyone wanted to see blizzard suffer in order to do better. I want them to improve but maybe they should wake up and see the error of their ways.
