I would guess that this bug is hard to duplicate. I've run Jade Temple at least 20 times recently and have only had Wise Mari bug like this once. Please try to find it and fix it, though.

The fight wasn't built around fast killing. There are flags in place. As the male pandas often say, "Slooow doooooown."

Also, continuing to bump a year-old thread is unlikely to get QA attention, since they don't see these in a forum format.

Still bugged. Had to alt-f4 to even leave.

I even stood in the back and waited for the elementals to come to me.

Just walked in, 1-shot him without realizing it was a boss fight. Stuck in the room. This is stupid.

Found a solution, you need to engage and not one shot the adds, so do the following.

1. Take off all gear (you're going to want to be max level obviously) including your weapon.
2. Start the encounter and allow the adds to spawn, then move to you and attempt to attack you.
3. Punch adds to death.
4. Let all 4 waves of adds come to you, kill them, then she will pop the bubble.
5. Punch her to death.

As long as you don't one shot the adds, you should be fine, and if you're naked and punching, you shouldn't one shot them, even at 120.

Can confirm previous methods of removing gear, and auto-attacking works. I waited patiently for each add, killed, then killed small spawns. After 4, you let him finish his RP'ing, then once the bubble disappears can go ham.

This is still bugged as of TODAY. Please work on fixing this. But, I guess that won’t happen, because there are budget cuts for the people who work on wow in order to pay the new CEO $900,000 a year to tell blizzard not to spend time or money fixing things the player base cares about ><

I didn’t have to take off my gear or anything. I waited at the back of the room like everyone said to do. Killed only big adds first, making sure they take a few swipes at me before taking them down. I let the small ones nip at me until he goes into his next phase. Killed off the small ones one at a time, then killed boss. seemed to work OK.

Did you read any of the rest of this 4 year old thread?

You have to kill the elementals slowly or it breaks the script of the fight. They don’t design fights to be soloed by a character 30 levels above intended. It is nice of them to let us do that at all. Kill them slow, or break the script - the power is in your hands.

I learned my lesson from other dungeons and raids and took my time. That doesn’t guarantee this boss won’t bug up in this dungeon. Also, logging out and logging into other characters isn’t removing my character from the boss room. Going to wait 5 minutes before I log back in to see if my character is finally removed from the fight.
