in vanilla most servers ceased to be balanced by the AQ war effort, and those that held on became one faction dominated with very few exceptions by TBC…WOW JUST LIKE CLASSIC.
All dual faction games have this problem, grobb very nearly became a 1 faction dominated server til other servers died and looked for a mega server to jump to
So limit which faction players can transfer and/or make new characters on a server. It’s not that complicated.
Borrow another tactic from ffxiv: offer bonuses to roll on certain servers or certain faction on specific servers. There’s simple ways to effectively get players to go where you want.
Body 1 and 2 is a retail change.
They’ve ported over the retail barbershop so it will use the same settings.
There was a interview a long time ago about dual spec
Why do you think they would have gotten rid of actual genders?
Also, that furthers the Pro-RDF players’ point - “go play retail if you want RDF” is stupid because they’re bringing Retail to Classic, more and more with every passing day. Thanks for confirming that for us all.
Convenient.
You can look things up to you know
You made the claim, you kinda have to support it.
I already provided you with the info, you can look it up or you can choose not to. I’m not a forum lurker so I’m actually doing other things.
If you haven’t found it in 2hrs I’ll check back
You didn’t provide me with anything. You said there was an interview about it a while ago. That’s not how conversations work. If you want to prove your point, link me the interview. It’s not a hard concept to grasp.
There were LOTS of servers with good balance at the end of Classic:
WoW TBC Classic Server population (ironforge.pro)
That could have supported Wintergrasp way better.
This whole problem was created by the allowing way more people on a server than Classic did before queues kicked in due to layers.
I know you like garbage dump cesspool servers like Faerlina that feel identical to Retail but this only happened because Blizzard decided to not manage their servers for TBCC and most players acted like sheep.
I did know this would happen though, with Wintergrasp turning into a boring and low-quality battleground, and have said it before but not in this thread, but don’t have to pretend to like it.

4 servers with balance, 2 of them were medium population.
a 60/40 split becomes a 100% every, single, time.
Even firemaw with all of its bragging that it was a balanced server is tipping - it’s inevitable.
edit: what do you think is going to happen when all the forced migrations happen…do you think the trend of alliance slowly decreasing on grobb will stop? Or that the horde won’t choose grobb?
You’ve been dooming about Grobbulus for a while, we’ll see.
That’s also not related to my post.

I like how Blizzard thinks cross server Wintergrasp is ok but cross server dungeons aren’t.

so was RDF.
On topic, people are delusional about WG. After launch hype it was mostly empty / dead with people only putting up with once a new boss was added then forgetting about it again a couple of weeks after. They should’ve just decoupled the raid from it and see how many even cared, i.e. as many as avoided one-faction servers, so not many at all.
Doesn’t have to have factions in order for them to know what their game can handle and what it can’t. This is the underlying issue; blizzard doesn’t handle their game well at all. They don’t bother with being in touch with their community because we are just money for them.
They also have cross play, meaning you can be on one server and transfer live on another server of your choosing. You clearly never have seen or heard of this feature, makes me laugh.
Blizzard had zero interest in keeping server balances, just like how you people did it, again. Dominate faction servers with no resistance. And if people got tired of it, just give blizzard money to transfer.
Blizzard could easily handle all this, but they don’t want too.
It was pretty fun on my original Wrath server. Sorry that whatever server you were on sucked.
resistance is futile
you will be assimilated
If the majority of the “community” cared about community status, mega servers wouldn’t exist lol
they care
they just want the largest possible community to be in

how many times a week? Every now and then on peak time during a couple of days, sure. But it resets every few hours, and during most resets it’d be empty save for a handful of people. This was my server, servers friends at the LANcenter played in and common opinion online at the time. Pretending your server had an always active always crowded WG scene 7 days a week is lying.

I like community, which is why I live in a large city and I’m on a large server. If I wanted to play by myself I’d stay in a tiny server and do nothing all day
