Wintergrasp is supposed to be WOTLKs Halaa. Its gonna be that, BECAUSE of MEGAs and the attunement. Just remove the attunement from certain servers.
Blizzard is hemorrhaging customers. It’s a little weird because I took a break from TBC to check out Final Fantasy and a surprising amount of FF players were WoW players and my community there all wanted to come back to WoW to check out WOTLK Classic.
A lot have dropped out since the ridiculous changes but still a lot of FF players plan on coming, I’m not sure if it will offset the amount of WoW-only players that are leaving however, and even then I doubt players from WoW or FF will still be playing WOTLK after the first couple weeks with how grim things are looking. I’d imagine FF tourists will go back to FF and WoW classicers will just continue to flood private servers beyond capacity.
Crazy to witness such historic and anticipated failure.
I honestly don’t understand where you’re going with this. We’re discussing WG becoming instanced, not WPvP or PvP in TBCC.
WoW subs are dropping more because retail hasnt had a decent expansion since Legion. Classic is basically a life support machine keeping live open. Everyday the differential between classic and retail player bases gets closer and closer.

This is such an ignorant or just deliberately antagonizing post, not everyone has the option of being on a 50-50 server for example me. I’m an OCE player, I’m already on the biggest server in my region, are you saying it’s my fault I don’t subject myself to 200ms+ just because my sever is 35-65 and not 50-50?
I think you know full well that pretty much every mega server is one sided and at the end of the day it’s just a BG.
It’s effectivly a BG, not exactly the world.
Everyone should care about WG, it gives access to a raid that everyone will want to do.

Grob has a community. We get just as much honor from player held events as we do BGs.

The current end game for retail is Sepulcher of the First ones. It has the lowest completion rate of any raid in WoW history since vanilla.

Yes thats a huge sign of dead game. People arent completing end game compared to the entire history of WoW. Thats extremely telling and if you dismiss it youre basically just trolling.
You do know that they’re planning on making The Vault of Archavon always accessible right? and that the outcome of the fight has no impact on anything.
It’s because they overtuned it and they’ve said that they’ve overtuned it that’s why people aren’t doing it it’s because Blizzard made the raid to hard.
If we Google, “How many people play Retail WoW?” First little box estimates nearly 5 million accounts are currently subscribed - considering that Classic reaches MAYBE 350,000 accounts, I’m leaning toward Retail having MUCH more in terms of subscriptions.

The AH in my server barely functions from stress and you want to tack on the strain of WG being on the servers as well? Bog down all of Northrend every time it’s up? Nah, im good bro…
It’s fine as an instanced BG on instance servers vs open world. Literally nothing is lost.
