Setting it to D3D11 Legacy works on the beta client (version 10.0.2.46144) for me but the same change on the retail client (version 10.0.0.46293) does NOT fix it.

-d3d11legacy worked for me.

Win7 also.

I did a search and several things I found were as follows:
Out of date Add Ons. Deleted them. Still Broken.
Delete WTF folder. Still Broken.
Update Video Drivers. This actually resolved the issue for me.

-d3d11legacy seems to load more of the game, but it still crashes before the log in screen even appears.

Not sure what other fixes there are for this at this point.

Ditto, all the same getting the exact error tried updating 11ā€™s nada, ran the scan nothing. Can we get a blizzard hereā€™s an update to fix that mess

I tried the -d3d11legacy in game settings, didnā€™t work. Ive tried re-installing the game, didnā€™t work. Ive tried manually installing the missing dll file, didnā€™t work.

I tried all of this as well, plus updating drivers, the gameā€™s Scan & Repair, removing all addons and installing Curse, every compatibility mode back to Windows 98, scanning and repairing my system. Nothing worked.

The only thing I havenā€™t done is upgrade to Windows 10.
