You guys requesting that change proves you know there’s a difference in the intentions of use for BoP and BoE. Ms. Morals wouldn’t admit it and then I seen she made a thread on it. Even more Rofl.
There is no need for that change. Players make groups. Players make their own loot rules. That change takes those options out of players hands. You need good and “bad” people in a community.
Pay attention to loot rules or start your own group. You don’t need blizz holding your hand against the scary ninjas. Plus this could lead to flying monks in classic. We have existing knowledge. Use it. Discuss the loot rules beforehand.

If no discussion took place then no. He’s not. A tool. No doubt but he didn’t break any rule because they were not discussed. This imaginary rule that half the community wants everyone to follow but the other half doesn’t obviously causes more issues than is fixing.
Discuss loot. Like i said earlier. We have existing knowledge. Most of this drama can be avoided if people communicate.

I don’t disagree with establishing clearblootvrules to which everyone agrees before the run.
Having said that, setting clear loot rules to which everyone agrees is one thing. Johnny intentionally choosing not to set loot rules before the run in order to claim “playable deniability” when he ninjas that BOE which he cannot even equip but is an upgrade for another member of the group is another matter entirely.

Let me reiterate for the folks in the back. If a loot piece drops, it gives you 3 options of interaction. Need, greed, and pass. You may choose any of the 3. If I greed something for gold so be it. If I need something for gold so be it. It makes no difference as I was given the option upon drop. Ninja looting happens in 40 man raids when you set loot to FFA and someone intentionally takes the item from the raid. You cannot sell raid items on the AH.

That BoE item is BiS for that warrior in your group. You don’t need that item, he does. You roll need and so does he. Other three roll greed or pass. The one who should have also rolled greed wins and just ninja looted that item. Therefore consequences follow. This forums is for public discussion. If all you are concerned with is your guild then?

Actually we don’t need any premades from the lessers. Our entire guild will be ranking within our own premades and no one can compete with our playtime
