EDIT: I am attempting to move this to customer service because this has continued for to long now, I have asked them to stop. Your ignore function does not work. Would really appreciate some help taking care of this.

Thinking of reaching out and asking Blizzard if they could change my name. I have one person following me around on the forums that will not stop harassing me. Could Blizzard possibly grant me a name change for this? I was thinking it may be time to submit an ongoing harassment ticket because they will not stop even after I have asked them multiple times to. Maybe I can just get a name change instead? Has anyone ever had any luck with anything like that?
Outside of that situation which is the most bothersome…changing my name to Cope from some generic fantasy name was something I did awhile ago. All I get is people making fun of me and trashing me for the name.
I thought of the word Cope as more as a funny undead priest joke. It hasn’t turned out that way. Unfortunately I guess I was wrong with my thinking because every day I am belittled and made fun of for it.
I’m at my wits end and ready to walk away from the game at this point. I spend all day getting yelled at by old people while I try to help them clean and do projects. Then I come home and get made fun of on my game.
Can’t even play this character without feeling like people are going to come at me in-game. Just wanted to vent a little about the situation I’m in and ask before I drop the $7.
Would really appreciate it Blizzard, I want to feel comfortable on the character I love playing the most.

This is a player to player support forum they tend not to intervene unless necessary since u have the tools at ur disposal ignore and report.
Anyone in good standing can post where they want as long as they dont violate the forum COC. So A your not putting them on ignore or b uve reported them and blizzard has found that theres no violations other wise they wouldve lost there posting privilidges. Also blizzard not gona give u a free name change u want one pay for it your self.
@Cope, put those people on ignore and be done with it. If you feel they are breaking the Forum Code of Conduct, report them. Don’t bring your drama to the CS forums, nothing can be done here.

Ty for the reply. I have and for some reason it will not work. I still get notified when they reply to me and such. I have history with this person not really sure if they found out who I am and that is why they won’t stop or what… I don’t want to go into this further unless one on one with the CS team.
I just don’t think I am going to have anyone on my side here and reporting them does not flag the post, and no one else really cares about it at all.
I’ve been pretty clear that I am uncomfortable with it all and have asked them several times to leave me alone and stop causing people to dogpile more then they already do.
Have you tried logging out of the forums and back in, maybe clearing your browser cache?
This should not be happening if you have that person on ignore. You may see icons in your thread about new posts, but you shouldn’t see anything popping up in your recent feed that ties to them.
. More people will start following you.
