I havenāt had reason to put anyone on ignore for a couple months now or so, but back then it was working as it should. Possible a recent update knocked something loose again, I suppose.

No I am not, I do get defensive when people constantly belittle me in every thread I am in for no reason. Especially when it continues after I have asked them to stop.
Iām not interested in anymore drama or pot stirring I just want this to be resolved. I guess the only way that can be done is if I pay the money to change this characters name and just never post here anymore on any kind of character I actually play.
I am not the best at communicating for reasons and I hope this is not interpreted negatively.
Not gonna happen here, pay for a name change if you want, but Iām thinking itās not gonna stop anytime soon.

Seeing how you admitted to going on defensive, hiding under a new name isnāt gonna change anything. People are quite good on these forums on tracking down alts and those that try to hide behind a name change, especially when they get combative over minor stuff.
People can friend your posting character in game, and if you change your name, it updates on their friend list.

Just another reminder to keep putting people on ignore if you feel theyāre being antagonistic, OP. Ignoring them (by either not replying or utilizing the forum feature) is generally counter-intuitive to certain aspirations.

Fortunately, nobody here violated the Forum Code of Conduct with giving you advice. You not liking what you are told does not negate the fact it was correct. Calling another poster a troll even in the way you did, however, is against the Forum CoC. Anyone with an account in good standing may respond in any thread they see fit as long as they do not violate those rules.

No, we would not provide a name change. If you believe someone is harassing you, youāll want to use the tools available to report them. On the forums, report their post. If a moderator agrees, they will take appropriate actions.
For the name change, it is important to understand how they work. Your name will update on any list that you are on in-game, Friends Lists, Ignore Lists, Guild Roster, etcā¦ you donāt disappear from lists.
As for the forum, you could just as easily switch posting characters.
Any user in good standing may reply to any post they wish, as long as they are otherwise abiding by our Code of Conduct. Iām sorry, Cope, but that you may not want someone to reply to you isnāt an enforceable request, nor is their doing so considered harassment.
It does, but it does not erase someone from the forums. It will hide their posts. If you donāt wish to hear from a specific person, ignore them, donāt look at their posts, donāt reply. Looking just at this thread you claim to have ignored/muted someone yet you continue to reply. At some point the onus is on you, Cope.
