You don’t know me or other males OP, how do you know if we respect women or not? The blizz employees who did this are not gonna read this thread. Your basically saying “all men are women abusers” when you know nothing about anyone.
Oh and on that topic, why not just say respect everyone instead of just women? Zepla, while talking about this, spoke on how she defended a MALE coworker from a FEMALE coworker who was harassing him. It goes both ways.
The message should be “RESPECT EVERYONE” not a specific gender.

I’m a woman. I’m a gamer. I don’t have a toxic attitude toward women, and the super vast majority of male gamers I play with don’t, either.
There is a very loud, very vocal, and very small minority that DO have toxic attitudes toward women, and those guys make like rough for the ladies and for the decent gents in the gaming world. But we don’t need to generalize because most of the people in gaming–both m & f, are really decent people.
If the decent men will just say something when they see something, that’s enough for me…and most of them do, in one way or other.

Speak for yourself. I was raised to respect women, treat them the same way I would treat anyone else, and if I couldn’t help them at least not hinder them. This mass crucifixion is SJW bullsh** and a blatant attempt to make half the world victims and the other half perpetrators. The old saying is quite appropriate here – me thinks thou doeth protest too much. Trying to assuage your own guilt so the spotlight doesn’t swing towards you?
