The reason is because they’re humans… but aight.
It isn’t going to kill you to stop being a pig… It isn’t going to destroy your world not to hit on every person that turns your head (guy or girl… not sure how you swing). You don’t have a right to touch anyone but yourself. If you don’t know how to act appropriately in public, talk to someone who does and learn, preferably a professional.

I notice you also ignored the part where you acted against what you were trying to prove as well. You can only copy and paste or add to something to try to prove a point.
But to your response once against you brought work into this. To me thats different then common sense. if you want to try to keep copy and pasting parts and try to utilize your own argument and breaking everything down feel free. But the only thing now you have done is burned your own argument by admitting you acted a certain way to try to prove a point which has not phased me. Also you are trying to only copy snips of things I said and taken this from a generalized statement to arguing every variable and semantic you can to try and win a forum argument. Once you realize that I wont go against me saying me and women both need equality and both need to cut out their bs and that anything outside of work palce variables is common sense and should be then maybe youll start bringing in a better argument. Ill catch up tomorrow if you have real information to add or say and unburn your argument from your admittance of doing what you wanted to argu with about respect and acting a certain way. Don’t expect respect if you didn’t earn it right? Especially if you’re dumb enough to walk around saying “women need to earn respect!” When the context is women just want to be treated with respect and not worry about getting sexually harassed.
But nah, you need your mental gymnastics to create your own bull crap definitions because you can’t admit that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
If you want to know why I’m treating you like this, it’s like you said. People deserve “common decency” (aka respect) until they lose it and you lost it right out the gate with your stupid comment. This isn’t about the respect of authority or expertise. Women are asking to be treated fairly and with respect and that should be a given and not something earned.

I am nice to others if they are nice to me 1st. I don’t owe anyone anything. If someone acts like a POS to me I will respond in kind regardless of their gender or anything else.

I’m getting really tired of this word “community.” On these forums it is the stock and trade of anyone trying to say that perceived injustice is widespread and it is up to all of us to do something.
It is not up to me, I am not in your “community,” it is not my job to police other people’s attitudes and opinions. If they violate the ToS, report them, but stop trying to shift responsibility for this onto everyone else playing this game.
Who is “we”? It’s not me. I don’t know who it is unless they out themselves to be toxic to women. Those people need to do better. More than better they should be kicked the F out.

Nice projection thread, I’m guessing the follow up will be “we the community apologize for beating women and pledge to do better.” Also this whole mess is more preaching and shaming us for the sins of Blizzard. Like you think we had much influence on the top .5% of the ladder at blizz corp as they made big money and tried to sleep with employees/fans?
EVERYONE knows groping/unwanted and weird advances are bad and women don’t deserve that. The problem is power often corrupts and that’s why you see it again and again and again and why when certain people with a certain mindset get power they will abuse it and they know it’s wrong but they also don’t give a flying F. That’s why these threads are useless because in addition to targeting no one at fault, a narcissist like Alex knows what he is doing is wrong but he will keep doing it until someone makes him stop. That’s where the focus should be, you can’t always predict how someone will act but you need to act and remove/punish them as soon as its apparent. That did not happen here.

Once again bud you are the one acting like you are trying to argue against so you lost any credibility in my eyes as well. I generalized common sense to be decent and respect for work in 2 different categories. You are the one who is seemingly getting annoyed or angry because you don’t like that I seperate doing your job and earning what you get in the job and humans get treated correctly as should be known or done automatically not over a job. Once again you will just “act” like you are trying to demean me which does not truly affect me outside of responses defen ding my side that got way too picked apart to try to make your point valid in your eyes from generalizationm to now trying to deliberate every single variable or thing that is not always controlled in a workplace but we wish it was.
PS. Once again I will again say If you want EQUALITY then it will have to go both ways. Never did I say if women give men respect I said that both men and women need to BOTH stop their BS in a work place and just do the job. you dont like it? That’s too bad I am being honest for both sides because it does happen. Does it happen for women more ? Yes. Does it happen for men? Yes it still happens. If you want to ignore that fact and claim equality then sadly you may not realize it but then you might have a problem. Equality means everyone not just men or women or even other identified genders. Update, Blizzard staff were clearly okay with what I said.
I think they themselves want to work together to improve things were women in game, whether they are players or people that want to work for the company and that is a good thing.
I treat women the same way I treat men. Anything else would be misogynistic. Women are human beings and dont need you or your fedora.
