My theory is because a lot of people quit phase 1 around this time.
Phase 2 seemed fine in duration. Been BIS minus an item or two for weeks, and at this point I donât really care to have the items Iâm missing
P2 had no content
no they didnât
actually yes they did.
It was so short because everyone quit
The difference is a retail player can spend 10x more than classic players in the form of wow tokens and skins. Classic players like us are less valueable our 15$ a month means nothing to them.
Gnomergan was never a fun dungeon and it was much less of a fun raid imo. I feel the same about Sunken Temple too, never enjoyed that dungeon. Really wish they would take the time to create new zone/dungeons. Pservers do it with less than half the dev team they got in Blizz right now lmfao.
Youâre right it should be 30 a month
P2 was a success without GDKPs, so much so that no one plays sod anymore.
Shamans got out of control and people noped out hard
Because they just stopped with patches a month in and that seriously messed with some people.
It did feel shorter for sure.
lol. folks still crying eh?
Everyone I know who quit either paused their sub till p3, or they just didnt wanna bother leveling via dungeon spam. That and the crappier ways of getting new runes this phase
Eloquently put.
It was only 2 weeks shorter than phase 1.
cuz everyone rushed the content and then started complaining there was nothing to do.
How long you wanna stay with one 30-40 mins of clear raid and 1 event that already people overkill and its bad designed that you just want to get the items and get rid of it. By leveling alts will not safe the playerbaseâŚ
back to my question for how long you want to deal with this⌠4 months? todays standard is fast phased in order to keep interest of average player, if you hard casual just deal with itâŚ
Well somehow I got a LOT more done in phase 1. Iâm not just talking about the âlevelingâ aspect and I felt like I wasted a lot of time at the start. Phase 2 even though there was apparently only a two week difference I just didnât get things done.
Iâm in a small guild on a small server. In phase 1 we had 6 to 7 different BFD raid groups going. In phase 2 we had 2. The second raid gropu I believe was going only around 3 weeks.
We had some of our âcoreâ take a break in phase 2 and this was specific to gnomer. So there is that I guess.
Personally I donât see how ST is going to be any different. So I kind of suspect some of them wonât be coming back for P3 either or will not stay long.
Ah so this is just a mad gdkper.
Off you go then.
There has been a 15-20% drop in raids according to warcraft logs.
Leveling takes longer, so less alts, raid is harder, so less clears, further in the season. So natural drop off.
As much as you and any community you are a part of may have left over gdkps you are not that impactful.
