Why was phase 2 so short?

Don’t worry guys, the GDKP talk will never stop, because there is people who’s jobs would be better and easier if GDKP was not banned, so the gold sellers are literally paying shills to try and get GDKP back so they can make more money.

They experienced a mass exodus of subs – And for good reason.

Hopefully p3 is also shortened and then we can get to AV which is what most players actually like doing. Then perhaps they roll back the ridiculous time gating on rank 14 where it currently will only open up when AQ gear trivializes it.

LMAO you really tried to sneak bring back GDKPs back into this, nice try but this isn’t true at all. Very small playerbase? Have you seen how populated the capital cities and the game has been? There’s a lot less alts that inflated phase 1s ironforge.pro numbers running Gnomer than BFD because it was a lvl 25 raid and was attractive to tourists, who obviously won’t stick around. Just because your friends from your GDKP community quit due to its banning doesn’t mean the majority of the playerbase did for the same reason.

as i said:

if lots of people were playing phase 2, then we wouldn’t get phase 3 so quickly

All of the bots that sit in capital cities in raid gear instead of out on their farming paths? Guess I didn’t know that was profitable for gold sellers to have their bots do nothing.

they need to sit in trade chat to sell the BoEs that drop from their bot farms.

It’s pretty common knowledge that the majority of bots vendor everything

yes, the majority of bots - but there are still others that sell BoEs in trade chat…

and since there are so few players to buy the BoEs, they need to sit in trade chat ALOT to be able to sell their valuable items.

Which makes me wonder why they didn’t make p2 more tourist friendly. Even with the xp buff, 1-40 has more barriers than 1-25. They need to buff the xp buff more to keep the current phase tourist friendly.

the phase will never be tourist friendly without GDKPs.

You are on some major copium if you think that even if that were true that of the hundreds of players you can see in major cities even 1% of them would be doing that. I think you’re just trolling, go do a GDKP on era or wrath.

i mean, if blizzard were to do a huge bot ban and got every single bot in SoD banned, there would probably be like 10 maybe 15 active players online at any given time.

Because as people quit the alliance blizzard is doing things to try to get players back like 100% xp, free wsg, and now a new phase.

They’re desperate yet still giving people human racials too in hopes it helps but it won’t humans will quit too

Wait till you have a 7 day lockout and get raid locked w/ a fail PUG because you missed your raid time w/ guild… oof.

yeah, SoD phase one was so much fun, but phase 2 really fell short of that, so blizzard just rolling out phase 3 in order to try to bring back some players

but i don’t think we’ll ever get phase one’s playerbase back while the GDKP ban stands in NA and EU - there is no GDKP ban in Taiwan, so if there are lots of active players on SoD, they are all on taiwan servers.

Gnomer is garbage get over it and Sunken temple will be just as bad, the sooner they get to end game the sooner they can save the decline in population.

i dont think end game raiding in SoD will bring players back if GDKPs are still banned.

This is true for my end as well. I had a reason to grind WSG. But there was no reason to grind AB because STV lumber trivialized it. So I quit. I like grinding BG’s after I come home from work etc – to make progress. But they are tailoring everything to raidloggers. And that tailoring just wasn’t good enough for their coddled demographic in phase 1.

If you look to the number of raids being logged then the population went into Hard Decline as Phase 1 continued to drag on for far too long and phase 2 did nothing to help recover it.

There’s 40,000 just on Crusader Strike, and it’s not even the biggest one.
