Why The Rush Blizzard?

I just hit 48, hope to be mid 50s by next monday. Blizz is really catering to these streamer pukes…

I must say its vomitous!

I think you’re right.

However, its easy to attract a crowd that assumes you are out to undermine classic, when in reality, you are already at the mountain top identifying the issues that will manifest heavily in the next few months.

Its going to be interesting to see how the Classic community thrives past phase two.

Until then, the inability for some to accept that Classic and Retail coexist, doesn’t help bring the Classic community together, when those same people are reducing otherwise interesting issues into a Classic vs Retail lens.

again. the 2-hour per week guys are the no-lifers. make sense.

how does releasing BWL affect you anyway?

2 months with nothing but a 1-hour MC clear to do… yeah, it’s a content drought.

Thing is, if the later phases are released with the requirement of prior raid tier gear then MC and BWL would actually see an upsurge of players and likely mean that people would be more willing to bring along casuals to fill out the ranks.

Its what you play now. What were you playing when you were leveling/starting to raid? I bet it eclipses 20hours a week averaged, considering even at 20hours a week on your 4day 60 priest would still have met you only hit 60 2 weeks ago, and not 5…

It won’t in many senses. Just once the line has been moved it will be that much harder finding group members and others that need/want to do content that isn’t relative.

I have to say Gash I always thought that Blizzard would have data they were looking at to decide what content is released when. It does appear that they just flip on twitch to make their decisions.

Leveling to 60 and gearing up for raids is also considered something to do by most players dude

i dont feel they are rushing… but what does kinda suck is… remember when yall first played wow… how amazing it was… all that nostalgia uve gained… well theres also brand new wow players like me… i work from home i no life this game like no other…didnt no where any flight paths were… didnt kno what addons were till lvl 25… players like me are developing self lore and love for this game… the nostalgia yall have had for 15 years im just starting to gain now… i hope they find a balance for all types of players… but like i said i dont feel rushed but some people do

I’m sure they do, but that’s a tough balance keeping everyone interested. If they drag it out too long they hardcores will quit and probably cascade to the casuals and kill the game. I definitely would unsub if they announced 6 months per phase.

The rush? IMO i feels like they are milking it to make it last even longer. It’s a 15 yr old game, where likely most people experiencing Classic have already played all that content. I have no idea why they are going so slowly, beyond the fact that the longer they milk this, the more money they expect to get out of stacking subscription fee’s. At the rate they seem to be going I will likely unsub in a few months out of sheer boredom.

Honor Pts & BG’s shoulda been in on release.

They stated they wanted to stagger content release between classic and live. This will generally mean there’s going to be a set tempo of how content will be released. It’s safe to assume that when a content patch drops in one of the two versions, the other one will get a new content drop roughly three months later as well. They want you flipping between classic and live or at the very least, have the two not competing with each other for people’s time.

thank you. just trying to get in the mindset of someone like … short sighted.

I think classic would be better served with an extended timeline. One that overlaps with retail. Classic is simple, relaxing, let it be the museum piece that it should be. Instead they are treating it like a race again.

I think a lot of us are actually identifying the same problem from different perspectives

because the current people raid-logging aren’t making that harder?

Or you are afraid soo many people actually want ( and are ready) to do BWL, you’ll have nobody left to dabble in MC ( guilds will still be clearing MC)… but that would means I’m not such a fringe minority.

Its what you play now.

yeah, i’ve already pointed out I took 3 day off at classic release.

Excellent, I welcome your unsub! I want to level in the areas and enjoy the adventures once again, 2 Months old and people like you need something to do.

It beckons to me that you’re really a Retail junky and have been indoctrinated to what do I do now mentality.

You feel empty without completing your 12 dailies, and leveling up your pet ocean goblin another level, and doing the instant que land resource battles and never needing to actually think for yourself on what “YOU” want to do!

I believe there are a lot of players like you Xclusive, except those players are in their 30s and 40s and we could lose them. My first 60 in Vanilla when it was all new took me 6 months.

Slow is fine but the game lacks Battlegrounds. A large % of the community is playing classic for Battleground PvP, so asking for them to move slower is basically giving the middle finger to the BG community.

I don’t wait to until next spring for WSG to release.
