Because we want a reason to PvP. PvP players have no incentive to log in currently, me personally I do a lot of PvE as well but many of my friends don’t even log in anymore because they are waiting on phase 2.
I have a BiS geared shadowpriest missing one item from MC to be complete, and a 55 Druid I’ll be making the move to once my priest is done.
beyond the starting area you’ll do the same quest, the same dungeon… you’ll spam shadowbolt instead of frostbolt ? Why should we even wait for you to get a 2nd lvl 60? why would that even matter?
If you think this is true, you have already lost this argument. The Classic world is very different from the Retail world. I see now why your posts are so misguided.
I highlighted the part that is wrong, your generalization.
Yes, the road to 60 can be bleak and isn’t the most fun. However, if I can get a tank class to 60 that would be a different game versus playing a mage, or a healing class. The community would appreciate more of both, considering all groups are looking for heals/tank it seems like.
You also forget that you probably don’t do ALL the quest to level 60. It’s enjoyable, for me anyways, to go to zones I skipped over on other toons, complete dungeon quest that I didn’t, and so much more!
pretty much what we observe yes. Makgora will have 100+ player online on reset day around raid hour, good luck getting 20 online outside of that.
Does each 40-man raid member already have their pre BiS?
pretty much yes. not that the few piece they miss matter much when you are already killing rag pre-submerge and apparently have months and months of MC clear to do.
My guild just killed Rag this week for the first time, I just got Ony attuned and will join my guild for their 2nd kill this week. I still need many pieces of pre BiS
yeah, that feeling go away really quick after your 3rd-4th rag kill and can just wait for perdition blade to drop instead of farming dal’rends.
just because a guild has cleared MC doesn’t mean the entire team starts raid logging.
not really. go there, kill X, collect Y. You’re also assuming I didn’t play before cataclysm… or on Pserver… which, surprise surprise, is probably a majority of players here.
oh no. I missed a ‘kill X dude’ in blasted land. I’m sure that will be a totally different experience from the 1000 other ‘‘kill X dude’’ quest I did on classic, or the tens of thousand I did on retail.
A bit of a hijack…but curious how much you think Blizzard catered to casuals over those first five years.
Blizzard has the tools and control over appeasing to the casual playerbase if history is an indication (Exhibit A: warfronts and retail overall)
The reality is, if Classic were released in full, you would have groups complaining there is nothing left to conquer (Exhibit B: private servers) and casuals feeling incredibly overwhelmed and exhausted of watching speedrun guilds smashing content, that theyd likely skip Classic altogether.
Im thinking Blizzard wants to milk the nostalgia for as long as they can until the spell is broken, and hope enough people pop into retail along the way.
Im actually catching myself repeating: " you think you do, but you don’t" a lot more lately.
Ugh just go play shadowlands man. You’re clearly a retail player who needs to be force fed new content every hour, so why don’t you leave classic alone because it’s never going to satisfy your demand for content. You’re playing the wrong game
My post isn’t really about pvp Kreed I too am ready to go. It’s about what’s best for the health of our community and the overall longevity of the game. Some communication from Blizzard on the schedule would be nice.
Again, we can’t help you sate your thirst for glory, this isn’t you game. You rushed to 60, have most of your BiS and the game has been out for ALMOST 2 1/2 months…
Seriously, you might need to take a break. You resent this game and almost have a hate for it. Some people like to see zones we haven’t, and do quest lines we might have missed. Sorry we have other things in life that give us a rewarding feeling and not an emptiness waiting for more more more. Settle down, roll a toon on an RP server and try something different dude.
Remember, we all log off at some point and life goes on around us even if you can immerse yourself somewhere else.
His entire guild has been 60 for 4-5 Rag kills, but apparently we are in the minority and his guild of no-lifers should set the pace of content release.
