Nope.
Not a real argument and it’s all based off your feelings.

Botting is going to be the same as it always has been. Botters are not going to be spending $60 a pop on character boosts.
your talking objectively like you know 90% of the booter population you profil them in a degree that is high enough to know. What each and every one of them willl do
Because contrary to popular belief Blizzard bans thousands of bots a week. Would you risk spending $60 on something that has a very real possibility of getting banned before it paid itself off.
Another thread about something that does not hurt the player who do not decide to boost.
Stop with this try-hard elitism, it is embarrassing just to see people trying to argue that level 1-60 content is relevant.
Just stay forever in classic and do us a favor.
Delusional if you think a class guide is a suitable alternative to a person who leveled 1-max (maybe, if you’re a high end gladiator or raider this would be true). I’ve releveled characters 1-max just to see if I learned anything new about the classes I play. Most of the time I do learn something new. I’ve played this game for 15+years and I still am learning new things all the time while leveling. Its a extremely important part of learning the limits of what your class is capable of. Pull 5 mobs by accident?, Figure it out. What you can use in your utility bag to turn a sure corpse run into a success.
You clearly didn’t play when boosts were first implemented (or you played in a very isolated community, or are just bad at the game).
You had people re-rolling without any idea what types of effects they could dispell, or if they had an interrupt, or what their defensives did/when to use them, or what their aoe/single target rotations were. Then those same people would use the LFR/LFG tools and wait for other people to carry them.
I’ve got no problem whatsoever with people getting carried through content they don’t deserve to experience, but to pretend a online guide is a replacement for leveling is asinine. It should supplement your learning, not replace it.
As a personal reference I boosted a demonology warlock in legion, I read the online guides, and I sucked really bad. It was only after ignoring the online guides and putting a hundred hours into playing warlock that I actually understood how to play the class and then I could compete for logs. That experience could have, and should have, been done during the leveling process.
So many straw men in this discussion, I feel like I need to plant some crops and put them to good use.
IT’S ONE BOOST PER ACCOUNT! Stop crying and acting like it’s free boosts per server, it’s LITERALLY one PER ACCOUNT. What don’t you people grasp? do you really think 1 boost per account is enough to “Ruin” the economy through botting? news flash the economy is already busted due to mages.
just make a new account duhhh…
Because the average player is absolutely going to pay $15 a month per character
It just like the average player didn’t have 5 accounts so they could summon themselves around azeroth.
People are spreading their fears without thinking.
The problem is they can and SOME players will. More wealthy players can skip the levelling process supported by blizz themselves.
if you actually believe enough players would do this that it would actually become a problem then you’ve got to be the most money-privileged person I’ve ever met
using this logic, if blizzard sold warglaives for 10 grand, it’d be ok?
I personally can’t wait buy my level 58 boost.
what backwards logic even led remotely in this direction?
indicating how many people could/would spend that much further or lesser justifies the service’s existence
So if spending 15 bucks a month for a new char is too much for anyone but this, then surely 10 grand for glaives is harmless no?
“making murder legal shouldn’t be a problem because no one really spits in peoples’ faces even though that is technically legal”
Yo man, your comparisons are getting out of hand… Not sure how an item which is literally pay to win is being compared to a level 58 boost when the max level is 70. But okay man, whatever.
Relax man… you’re worrying me.
Well, only if you really want to enunciate
