your post started to talk about bot and how the bot will use boost to gain valuable resource so be efficient right away. At ihat say its really depend on how much it cost . Il be honest i would like it if it cost tons of money like 500 $ US. It would make sure that only people who dont wanna lv and ready to pay big buck to lv
Here its i dont care about the classic experience if they can shut up about it. CLASSIC IS A BETTER GAME GET OUT WITH RETAIL ITS TERRIBLE. ITS BETTER GAME I DONT WANNA PLAY RETAIL PAY ME 100 $ and our to play our nothing ! GETTING THE VANILLA EXPERIENCE KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT ! NO ITS NOT GET OUT OF HERE I HATE RETAIL I HATE YOU NEED A NEED A NEED YES AND THEY PAY ME GOLD TO TANK FKING MORON !
After that it seem to be repeating itself and i dont think they care if the game start to look like retail.
For them its not about what as value in term of quality its how much more money can we get for the less amount of work and quality.
Although this would solve the botting problem, there are 2 issues with this:
Blizzard would never put it at that kind of price, it would be too expensive for most people and defeats blizzard’s goal with the boost and would contribute to my problem no.2 in my OP
This would just cause a new problem with the boost for me or amplify an existing problem and that is it makes it more P2W. The more expensive the boost is, the more it advantages rich players over average or poor players (IRL). This is not good game design and it’s user unfriendly. At any price it is the same, but the more you increase it, the worse that problem becomes.
I can assure you if you read them properly, they are different points.
they might not care but we should and in turn, they should begin to care what we care about.
I’m lost as to what this rambling is
I get what it is for them but that isn’t a defence of the boost, that’s just explaining their anti-user philosophy.
Am sorry i know they keep telling themselves and they never believe people would play vanilla . They only ad a few server. They keep repeating the sentece over over OVER AND OVER AND OVER THEY JUST WANT TO play THE OLD GAME AGAIN ITS NOT ABOUT THE FACT RETAIL IS BAD ITS RETAIL IS BETTER THEY JUST WANNA TRY THE OLD olne of course .
I know that what they repeat in there head so it can give the old product wich is GOOD A GAME think were gonna go back to there sloth machine.
Retail is terrible any one who enjoy retail is definitely not someone like me and i feel like there bigger difference than me and retail player than right wing or a left wing person . To me classic is a soft Rust game . Without being able to kill people and steal their stuff and destroying what they build and stealing. Classic is about seeing a black lotus and you and another person want it but only 1 person can have it. The biggest dog or the smartest one will take it. I PLAY FOR THAT NOT TO GET IN A CAGE WITH 3 OTHER PEOPLE THAT NOT NATURAL AT ALL.
Are you stating this as you think it’s true? Have you not read the EULA/ToS? If not, you probably should, as you had to agree with it in order to play.
One of the arguments people who are against the boost use is that the boost could negatively affect the economy because they could negatively use the boost to bot.
I see what you’re trying to say now. I don’t think that’ll be as much an issue as some think. The more it costs to “restart” the bot process after being banned, the less likely it’ll happen. I recall something being said about boosts being purchased during the deep dive. If that is the case, the bot people would have to front the cost of buying the game, purchasing a subscription and buying the boost.
you dont know that. you dont know how much opportunity cost is lost. if its more than the cost of the boost, then yes they certainly will buy boosts.
suppose the boost costs $20 and suppose they sell 1,000g for $20 … well then if they can farm an additional 1000g at lvl 58+ in the time it takes to get to level 58 without a boost, then boosting would increase their profit.
