Why the level 58 boost is bad for the game #stoptheboost

Why am I not surprised to see the Corporate Defense Force all up in this topic? It’s absolutely shameful.

Real Life is full on inequalities where a multitude of inherent advantages are given to people that will make it so that they are ahead from the moment they are born.

The appeal of videogames like WoW were to create a world where no matter your irl status, you could achieve and excel from the rest purely based off of effort.

Your analogy is inherently flawed.

I mean partly IRL yes. If it’s a kid with a rich dad who bought him the car, people will often mock them saying things like ‘daddy’s money’ and so on versus an older dude who’s earned it from his business or whatever.

But again, like the other person I quoted, your argument is inherently flawed because that inequality and degradation of achievements IRL is what made games like wow classic so appealing.

In the context of TBC level 58 is not a significant achievement.

nice goal post shifting. Completely ignoring the fact that I countered your original argument.

And also, that’s a subjective statement. If it’s not significant, then why is it such a problem for you to have to do it?

I’m saying if what you are sitting on is hurting because of the boost it’s a PEBKAC problem not a problem with the boost.

Brrr. Brrrr. MoP SoO LFR Fiasco is calling. They want to call out ur BS!

please elaborate. I don’t get what you’re saying. What am I sitting on? Why is it hurting? Wtf is PEBKAC…

Btw, also not acknowledging your original premise was completely wrong but not suprising shrug.

Figuring that out would be a good first step.

just because you speak in incoherent ways with nonsensical terms doesn’t put my OP’s arguments into question.

so you’re just trolling, got it. I’m just going to report and move on at this point.

No I’m trying to enlighten you that google is a very useful tool for finding out basic information

Good advice, troll.

And I’m trying to enlighten you on how to debate properly. You’re embarrassing yourself very badly right now.

please quote where I’ve trolled. Thank you.

You were lacking basic knowledge, I not only provided you with that information I showed you how to acquire that knowledge on your own.

What knowledge mate, the fact is you made an original point about an inherently flawed analogy, I countered it and you tried to shift the goal post to a different topic to avoid acknowledging that you lost the discussion and then started rambling nonsensically and are now trying to pretend that because I didn’t understand your nonsensical rambling that I am somehow uninformed, or in other words, stupid.

As I said, I’ve really got nothing to prove now. Everyone can quite clearly see you’ve got no genuine arguments.

That’s fine you might just be having a common 1D10T errror.

you’re not even trying. It’s pathetic. If anything, you’re probably trying to derail this topic to distract from the goal of having this boost removed.

I merely tried to educate you on what a PEBKAC is, let me try again, just to make sure you actually understand all the terms.

After all that, I look to discover that it’s just an idiotic nerd term for a problem with a person rather than the computer / program / application etc…

So basically, you acted like a smartass to make a surface level argument that had nothing to do with my or your original argument? Got it…

Ah good so you do know that your issue with boosting is entirely a you issue and not an actual in game issue.

Obviously its a player issue. But its one they will have to deal with. Or quit I suppose. Both are fine.
