I always liked this illustration for fem Draenei, give me horns and a spikey headcrest and big-ol pony tail like that please!!
Anyway just holding out hoping we get some darker and diverse skin tones for Lightforge Draenei so I can be more than three shades of white haha! So far I like what’s been previewed for them so far but would love it if we had a few more darker skin colours.
With the LFD, they get a bit of the headplating (not as brilliant as the art pieces), so I hope they get the majestic ponytails. It’ll be nice if the LFD get some dark skintones due to how well it’ll look with the gold.
When you see the old WoD update for Draenei they show that one has headplating and more or less showed the community it as a joke. But I feel like they gave headplating for the women a try and possibly failed to make a good looking option.
You can spout your questions all you want, it doesn’t change the fact that they’re dialogue does not have them “rejecting their past before their change” at all.
They clearly wish for their nation to be back in the Alliance like it was in the past.
Whether that happens or not is besides the point and claim you were making. Majority of their dialogue is not rejecting their past.
Of course, because as we all know, all the High Elven Farstriders of Allerian Stronghold and Quel’danil just poofed.
It really is just so weird you keep trying to say “Farstriders are a BE organization” when that’s like, the only thalassian organization that still has recognizable members on the alliance, unlike the magistry or blood knights.
Also the fact that you can’t confirm there were no Farstriders in Umbric’s group deflates your argument. All all the Umbral Rangers just scholars that grabbed a bow according to you? Even if that would be true, then their WHOLE INFLUENCE WOULD BE ALLERIA.
So the Umbral Rangers and Rifstalkers are either voided Farstriders, or Rangers trainded by Alleria herself.
Take the number of physical options, then you multiple it by 14 for earrings, then take that number times 8 for necklaces, times 4 for armbands, double all that for the jewelry color and times all that by 7 for the bracelets. That’s multiplying the actual physical customizations by 6,272
To be fair, Umbric still calls himself a Magister. He really should invent a different title for himself. That or go all in with the pretentiousness and call himself the Grand Magister of the Ren’dorei or something.
So what, every little thing the Belves get will have to be grandfathered to you people yes or yes? Cause I’m sure people won’t shy of using your argument to demand the light stuff (Helves have paladins and priests too), the fel stuff (Velves are Belves and have warlocks) and even the undead stuff (Velves have the gothic aesthetic).
I think Blizzard’s art team can be creative and efficient enough to design different aesthetics for stuff we’ll have to share like the warpaint.
Cause sorry, but saying: replicate everything and limit only in colors is even more ridiculosly reductive. If color palettes aren’t iconic of races, then don’t suddenly come here to propose that BS.
That and Vereesa calls herself a Ranger-General. Granted that’s of the Silver Covenant specifically, but its not as if we don’t have Alliance elves using titles from the same organizations from Quel’Thalas, even if there’s no practical reason to do so since there is no way they have actual rank in the legitimate organizations.
And I wasn’t even counting her because the argument could be made that the SC as more human influence, but yeah.
It’s just weird to call Farstrider aesthetics exclusively Horde when Alleria’s old Farstrider Sqaud is still literally part of the alliance, and Quel’danil is Ranger-Town
Oh yah I remember that! It could totally work and look baller if there was some time put into it.
I’d also love it if they could separate the male Draenei’s horns and head crests from their hair styles. Only because sometimes the hair will clip with a mog so you have to have your whole head changed just so that you can have a shorter hair style that doesn’t clip into your gear.
Yet I’m used to it these days, would just rather have some darker skin colours for LFD mainly.
