Why the lack of Customization?

Will you guys remove me from your friends list if I admit I still want the Helves / Belves to massively lose against Arthas?

I mean frankly that´s the best part about that particular story… how such massive loss changed them so fundamentally is VERY interesting.

That you would take more advantage on posting your suggestions than complain over elf fanwank.

Glad to be of service.

I´m not 100% sure regarding WoW proper, but as far as the small info is concerned, all those “animals” share a common ancestor (the kodos, the salamander and the thunder lizards).

Wait. Thunder lizard… hohohoho… may I claim lighting stuff proper themes? I mean lightning usually ends up in fire as long as combustible material gets involved.

Idk… I hate to act hypocritically.

I actually did post my suggestions like, way back when.

Unlock panda skin from hair colour
Unlock skin colours from patterns
Add more skin colours.

6000 posts later the elves are still arguing.

The Arthas story was probably one of the better ones… I’d keep it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Would it still be hypocritical if it was offered though?

There are things there that could easily apply to Blood Elves just as much as High Elves just as much as Void Elves.

And hell blizzard clearly isn’t shy about sharing one way… might as well the other way.

Well if we’re talking about Pandaren I like Henitais posts on playing up options that tie into the fact they are the only race that uniquely starts as neutral. IE: stuff I quoted above

Lovely. Love it.

All of this.

Nah. I think they should still lose because it helped shaped who they are as a people and gave them strength and themes beyond “pretty blond elves.” It’s their tragedy and history that makes me love Thalassian Elves so much. It is indeed the best part of their story.

RIP Gadgetzan relevance, best town of Azeroth. I always wanted to play through the War of the Shifting Sands :pensive:

I´d add getting balayage esque effects on the hair, after all you are the original owners of the bi-colored hair.

And access to crazy color combinations too… evidently the Pandaren OWN some sort of hair tincture. Apart from that I have no idea on what else to suggest, your race unfortunately suffers from chronic lore neglect as per Blizz actions.

If only my man… honest to God, they should just “pull the ripcord” in regards to hair colors.

Let the humans use neon green and the gnomes use the most conservative of ash blonde. I know we have people on the Befl fanbase wanting pink and green hair colors.

Make all the fun you want but i think it could be interesting… Alliance get the Arcane / Ice while Horde gets the Fire / Thunder themes as far as magical preferences are concerned.

Idk, they didn’t make the Void Elves ethereal elves so I’m inclined to believe that they don’t have too much creatitivity.

The idea of completing the elemental set of elves is enticing…

Oh I remember how lively Gadgetzan used to be in “the old days.” I also remember loving the Culling of Stratholme dungeon. Playing through the war of shifting sands would be boss.

Oh no, the absurd stuff they concoct 24/7 regarding the lore actually implies they have TOO much creativity for the sake of “breaking expectations”. They just go the lazy route when the moment to implement comes.

Ethereal Velves would had been magnificent.

To be able to see Saurfang before he degenerated into Sadfang would be glorious indeed.

I mean Akunda is now a Horde exclusive feature related to the Zandalari.

And the Zandalari are allies of the Belves and NB. I´d concede the thunder / lightning themes should be much better exploited in the Z Troll race, but the elves and the other Horde races maybe can get a small portion of participation (even if the small amount is basically one crocolisk esque symbol put on the tattoo options).

Yes. I hated what he became, but he had good reason to be sad.

The problem was never about him feeling sad, it was about him curing himsel of it thanks to Anduinism for the sake of Anduinist conversion.

That was honestly   :face_vomiting: to witness.

To be fair the zandalari have no real love for the elves, as evident in both in game emotes and Shadows Rising

So sad… my dreams of a Salamander tattoo motif have ended

Yeah that was… something both sickening and laughable. They turned him into a feeble laughing stock.

I don’t mind the nuance (? Is the word I want I think) but the nuance between the Horde races yet how they are Horde regardless.

Their stories on being Horde + their personal opinions of each other in the Horde is what makes it make sense and fit so well.

I feel like at this very moment I’m having flashbacks of every HE fan who still is on about BEs being Horde

Can you check this thread please? Male Night Elf Faces (and Other Suggestions) - #85 by Fallingsnow-nemesis

Looking at the pictures of vanilla and wod side by side comparison, you will notice that male and female Night Elf have terrible body proportions now, much worse than it used to be. This is my first and main request, give both better proportions please!

Male and female night elves have terrible posture too, another mistake from wod development.

Night elf male and female have round, big bug eyes. They used to have narrow eyes.

Male faces are bugged, they look permanent angry.

Female faces have puffy cheeks they didn’t had before wod update.

We have been asking for these fixes since wod, i know it’s a lot of stuff, but they need to be fixed. Night elves weren’t this bad before wod, is so sad to see that they still have all the issues from wod until these days. Make us feel that no one cares.
